The Office Quest

A puzzle heavy funny Point&Click game. You play as a man who got bored with his daily routine at work, one day something magical happened to the only colorful flower in his boring office, a red orb emerged from it, the only color in the whole monochrome game, he decided to sneak out of work to get it. Of course, sneaking out of work is never an easy task. The soundtracks are nice, fitting the gameplay and story. Some of the riddles are tricky and need lots of steps to solve, and some of them are easy. I disliked one of the mini-games which require you to use keyboard keys to solve five levels, it was so tough especially if you dislike platformers games, the worst part there is no skip button for this mini-game, you must finish it in order to proceed to play the rest of the game- the bird looks cute though. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1938992299 There is no dialogue between the characters, but you'll understand what you have to do from the concept. It is not a long game, but the length depends on how long it takes you to solve the riddles and puzzles. I took my time in everything and I was idle for around an hour. The game has 3 chapters, all of them are fairly short. I have just finished chapter 1 and 2 in 94 minutes. My guess would be this games takes around around 2 or 3 hours to finish it. There is no replayability. Your (weird-looking) character is a bored office worker. You see an interesting red dot and you decide to follow that dot. Hence, your adventure begins. There is no text in this game. You do have an inventory. There is no option to click on any items in your inventory. All items are used automatically when you click on something that is in need of an item. Some puzzles are fairly easy, but some are really tough (like those Mensa-like puzzles) The graphics are really awesome. It is like a cartoon. There are not many colors in this game, so it looks fairly unique. For the price I think this game is a bit short. So my advice would be to wait for a sale. Although it is a good and smooth running adventure game, but it is short. The story is fun, but, sadly, the annoying puzzles ruins the game! In particular, the platform puzzle sections in chapter 3 ruins the fun of the game. They're simply annoying, and breaks the flow of the game. I managed to get through it, but the humor of the game was marred by the frustrating and meaningless minigames.

I was enjoying this game until the forced platformer in chapter 3. I bought this game for the puzzles, not for a tedious platform game.

The Office Quest has a special charm for its aesthetics, the characteristic trace is very beautiful and cool, it wins you at the beginning for that. I find very interesting how the difficulty of the puzzles gradually increases in a natural way, it is not a drastic change as in some games where everything is going well when suddenly appears an impossible puzzle to solve. This is another excellent feature: the answers are there, you just need to observe and understand the logic, there is no moment where the puzzle is something absurd and the resolution is something without notion that makes no sense. A beautiful game, very well made and an excellent choice for those who like the genre.

A very cute small puzzle/ Click&Point game, overall simple and short. While some of the puzzles may take a bit of time, they are rather easy. There is not much story other than what we see in the trailer so I'd say it's a small cute game if you want to chill a bit and enjoy some hours of relaxation. I got it with a big discount so I'm okay with what I paid for it, if you enjoy this kinda games I suggest you get it during sales. I did find some small things to be a bit annoying, for example, sometimes instead of going to the next screen, clicking would do nothing, so I'd have to move the character to another place so I could then click again for them to move to the next screen. It seems the game was adapted to play on PC but originally made for mobile/tablet purposes (? I dunno. I'd say it's not special, but it's not bad either, I bought it because I thought it look interesting and I was drawn by its art which I enjoyed very much.

This game is awesome! I have been waiting forever to play a good point and click game and I finally found a great one. If you are into these type of games (and even if you are not) you will love "The Office Quest". The drawings are beautiful with lots of humor, the puzzles are great and the overall game-play is rich and interesting

Game has a multi-part, fairly difficult, unskippable arcade-type/platforming minigame in chapter 3 (the ATM puzzle). If that isn't within your skillset, you'll be stuck and rest of game unplayable. Which is just WRONG for a casual, PnC game. I should have read negative reviews better before buying it myself, as I can see now that players have been complaining about this minigame since the game was launched. Needs either a more precise description on the Store page. Or - preferably - a SKIP option. Also, some of the puzzles are totally illogical moon-logic - stuff I would NEVER have guessed by myself, but needed a walkthrough for (that fish tank thing, and the selfie, for example, I mean - what !?!?!!! ). Well, I'm stuck at the ATM puzzle, have uninstalled, and feeling disappointed.
