The combat is fun but not a fan of the game mode. What I mean is that we need to find the enenry sources... but the map is quite big. And the problem with survivor type games is that you are in a race against time to level up faster that enemies can scale, and if we are constantly on the move, that means we are not either not killing enough enemies or not picking up the exp orbs. Either way, it means we are losing on levels while we look for the energy sources. There are several ways to fix this: 1. Just give us the exp for killing the enemies without needing to pick them up. We don't have to pick them up, there's no rule saying that ALL VS clone games have to have pick up exp. 2. Show us the map so we can move to the objectives as fast as possible. But even with this method we are still losing out on the level gains, but it makes the problem a bit more tolerable. 3. Slow down the enemy scaling or spawn rate, or both. In that case we have more time to search. Anyway, if you ONLY care about combat, this game is good. But if you care about beating levels... I personally can't enjoy this.
This game is an excellent survivor game with smooth gameplay and many upgrades. Each time you play, it feels rewarding because you can do better than the previous attempt. The energy system adds an objective to the game and makes it more challenging. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys other survivor games.
Not a bad survivor game, but very simple. Took me a couple rounds to realize what I needed to do. The devs have a lot of work ahead. 1. The level progression is broken, and its easy to become completely OP by taking the "killing and enemy spawns a new bullet" perk every time it comes up. Eventually they all just detonate like fireworks. 2. The "boss" characters will drop in 2-4 shots from the shotgun. They also have very easy attacks to dodge. 3. Overall the scale of the weapons and abilities is very small. Taking the "spells" vs taking main gun upgrades is basically useless. They mostly make no real difference in your strategy. 4. Spells are arbitrarily named spells and have no logical reason to be spells within the context of the game world, which is clearly sci-fi and not fantasy. The obvious choice would be "powers" or "abilities" given you collect energy and not mana or the like. 5. If you take speed perks enough times, you'll clip through the floor and the game will crash. 6. The "energy" aspect of the game is not indicated via any gameplay or visuals besides very basic ones. You absorb energy, but there is no explanation as to why, and it doesn't have any impact on you or the game. It's just an excuse as to why you have to stand in X zone for X time. Some kind of animation or risk/reward would be nice. 7. The enemies, special effects, world, and menus are all blue and yellow. There might be slight variations, but everything looks pretty much the same. I had to actively pay attention to notice which blue special effects were which. Half the time I took a perk, I couldn't distinguish which effect was what. 8. There is no level up progress bar. Sometimes it feels like it takes a loooong time to level, and then suddenly you are getting levels every couple of seconds. I finished a match once and had to clear six more prompts for perks after the win animation. It is early access, so, of course it isn't complete yet. I see potential here, but for now its only going to interest the most forgiving of Survivors players.

It's uh... *very* evocative of Synthetik/Synthetik 2, but scaled way down in terms of scope and complexity. There's not much to it at the time of this review. Three classes and three weapons. That being said, it's a fun twin-stick shooter wave survival game and the sound/vfx feedback from shooting feels nice and punchy. Quality gunfeel.
The game is a new aproach in roguelikes survivors. It's beautiful and well balanced! Lots of fun! Recommended!
Fun game can't wait for more content.
I enjoyed the game, fun and addictive. Looks very good, polished, great soundtrack, lots of upgrade options. It´s still in Early Access, looking forward do see how it evolves.
