It is not a horrible game. I adored the original. This is playable, most of the "game" is fine. It is quick, humorous and a simple joy. Problems come up when you look at the technical side. Any multi hit ability(a key feature of combat) does not work correctly. If it has a random target it will target dead enemies, or simply none. The game also hangs up often, stops responding and having to wait for it to catch back up. Just sours the experience. I recommend this only if you have an abundance of time and don't have to be choosy where ya spend it.
A remake of a 4-hour parody adventure. Expect the content of an indie of its original release (2010)
Great 'weekend' RPG you can feasibly beat in one or two sittings. Combat is fun if a bit simple, and normal mode is a tad easy. Several additional modes are available for those who want to wring everything out of their games. Not as refined as some of the other Zeboyd games but still very much worth a go for classic-style RPG fans.
Great remake. Retains the same feel/spirit but with snes style art.
Nothing really to recommend it. The writing is goofy, with a lot of references that aren't particularly funny(perhaps even anti-funny). The combat was mindless until after the first hour when it got a little bit thinky, but really just target selection and damage math. Nothing made me surprised, or interested, or amused; though it also didn't particularly make me want to quit. Just bland. Seems to be quite short though, which is something I do genuinely appreciate, particularly in a genre that tends to drag.
Awesomesauce remake
A decent remake of a comedic RPG that doesn't overstay its welcome.
I've played the original years ago and stumbled onto this remaster by chance. this is honestly one of the better remasters I've played, a funny little JRPG homage to classics that's now a classic in of itself.
Great Little turn based game that doesn't waste your time super fun 3 hours
Actually a very nice retro fashion rpg game this is! Love it.
