A tactical sci-fi RPG set in an alternative 1970's, where an enormous and inexplicable artifact –the Dome– is discovered in a remote desert. Fight enemies, explore the anomalous wasteland, level up your character, join one of the forces in the ruined world.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What a great game! I was sitting on this for almost a year. I forgot I bought this little gem on sale and forgot to add to my TRY SOON list. Well, I must say I was underestimating this title. I just thought it was going to be another generic clone of the games we love to play in the vein of top down tactics. I very much recommend this title. Plus the game isn't against you just having fun with the title. Break it open and hack your way to victory. Or play it straight up. I always say when you cheat on a solo game the only thing you cheat is yourself. But the thing is as an adult with so many things on my plate I just don't have the time it takes to put forth grinding and doing what I did in my youth. I would sit on a game for 18 hours at a time. Sometimes 30+ hours! But those days are gone and I have stuff I MUST suffer though. So giving me the option to speed things alone a bit is a welcomed feature. I really am enjoying the title!

Huge fan of old CRPGs. Encased is one of those games that makes me say, “there it is… right there… that could’ve been something special.” Because the foundation? It’s really strong. The Dome setting is genuinely cool and new, with mystery baked into everything. The RPG system has enough skill checks to make you feel like your character actually exists in the world instead of just passing through it. But then… the polish just isn’t there. The still art feels oddly childish at times, if it were made today people would make fun of it and say it was AI slop. The voice acting doesn’t help either, it’s serviceable at best, but mostly sounds like they tried to save money by having people off the street read the script. And that’s kind of the running theme: nothing is outright bad, but so much of it feels like it stopped one step before good/great. Combat works, but doesnt evolve into anything exciting. The game starts strong, then slowly loses momentum instead of building on it. What’s frustrating is how easy it is to see what this game could have been with a bit more refinement. There’s a genuinely great RPG hiding in here, you can feel it the whole time, but it never fully steps into that potential.
It's like a more polished version of the classic fallout games but it leans more heavily into a sci-fi world with anomalies straight out of Stalker. I really enjoy it a lot for this type of game, actually more-so than Wasteland 3 as it has a lot more polish and charm. The combat is fine, the story is interesting, the progression feels impactful and rewarding, and there are the hidden secrets and cool things to find for completionists. 90% of the dialogue in the game is even voiced by above average voice actors. I really do recommend it, and I'd say it's probably worth buying at full price.
An absolute gem for fans of classic RPGs! This game takes you into a richly crafted post-apocalyptic world filled with intriguing characters, complex storylines, and deep tactical combat. The dialogue is sharp and witty, reminiscent of the best old-school RPGs, and every choice you make feels impactful, truly shaping your journey and its outcomes. The skill system allows for a lot of customization, so you can create the perfect character to suit your playstyle. The environment is beautifully detailed, capturing the desolate yet strangely captivating atmosphere of a world gone awry. It’s a must-play for anyone who loves immersive, narrative-driven games with a dose of tactical strategy.
Love the game but if you wanted to try the game, buy this during sale.
I'm actually impressed by the first couple of hours playing this game. It's a pretty solid isometric CRPG with a unique setting (retro-futuristic Sci-Fi) and it seems to have a lot of options regarding how to approach every scenario, including talking you way out of things, which I always appreciate in a CRPG. My only complaint so far is that the game doesn't do a good job of explaining or hinting what to do to progress a quest, but that's mostly a nitpick because it's obviously a conscious design choice and its' trying to emulate older games that didn't hold your hand so much.
