Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I could play as a sneaky diplomat from start to finish and it was funny, that's good enough for me.
I like post-apocalyptic theme, and I have played Encased and Wasteland 3. Between these two, I prefer Wasteland 3 more, even though it was published earlier than Encased. I also like Encased, it is promising, but after 20h into the game I decided to stop. Combat is not as smooth as Wasteland 3. I cannot modify my stat, which is very limiting. I cannot control my Companions' skills. Enter a room with 20 interactable objects, just to loot garbage items. Stealth mode is almost useless.

Found it nice, not the best but at least a 7 on 10 in my opinion. I played the betas and waited long enough to forget most of it and had my fun, it is still a bit clungy but i was able do play it from start to end.
Encased really leans into its narrative depth, so your point about carefully reading the dialogue is spot on. The game is designed to reward players who pay attention choices often ripple into unexpected consequences, and missing a detail can lock you out of certain quest paths. I’d say that’s part of its charm: it feels like a true old-school RPG where your decisions matter, but it also means you need patience and focus. If you enjoyed the story driven aspect on day one, you’ll likely find even more layers as factions, tech, and moral dilemmas unfold.
Not a big fan of the way this game does storytelling, and despite not having completed it I feel confident in saying that the rest of the reviews are very much correct. The RPG systems and mechanics seem allright, but the narrative is very confusing and moves at an incredibly wonky pace, including psychic hallucinations within the first two hours that basically throws out the window most of what you've been doing so far. It's just not a story that's told very well. Great premise, poor execution.
-A ambientação é única e bem desenvolvida.
After playing so many hours, went back and all the saves are lost.
Encased, a turn-based RPG, draws heavy inspiration from the Fallout and Stalker series, immersing players in a self contained post-apocalyptic dome. As you investigate anomalies in the dome, you'll find yourself navigating a vast, open world filled with danger and intrigue. Encased uses a classic 3D retro-inspired art style that iterate on the isometric view of old. The art assets are original, and contribute to the atmosphere building. The developers are from Eastern Europe and it provides an interesting novel viewpoint, much like Atom RPG, and Stalker, of what a world might look like when things go wrong. The game's narrative is engaging and thought-provoking, exploring themes of science, religion, and the human condition. The world of Encased is rich and detailed, with a variety of factions and locations to discover. The game's lore is deep and complex, rewarding players who take the time to explore and learn about the world's history. Technical issues: Some players have reported encountering technical issues, such as crashes and glitches. I personally did not experience crashes, but did lose my save towards the end of the game due to a hard drive failure: don't rely on the cloud save feature if you want to avoid restarting the game like I did. I really enjoyed spending time in the Dome, and the levelling system is well implemented. You can effectively experiment using low intelligence characters, or stealth or brutal play-styles. There is something for everyone.
