Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Neat mixture of top-down RPG and visual novel. This game not only shares similarities to Wasteland, Disco Elysium and Fallout, it also shows clear traces to literature like Stephen Kings "The Arena" (knows as the "Under the dome" series) or "Roadside Picnic" (known as a movie named "Stalker") written by the Strugazki brothers. In the story you enter a "dome" of unknown material that suddenly encased an area of around 100km in diameter. People can enter it but they can't leave it anymore. This leads to 5 different types of people entering this place - color coded. The whites are scientists, the orange ones are criminal (forced) labours etc. The game starts where you (choosing one color) enter this dome for your own reasons. From there things go south and - as always in these games - you are the one who has to find out what's going on, eventually saving the population of the dome (in one way or another). The game plays as an tabletop RPG (a bit like Wasteland or old X-Com games), you get XP, level up (note your attributes never change so pick them wisely at start!) and get better gear. The game has the usual crafting and fighting mechanics and there is a lot of dialogue to read, choices to make etc. But as good as it sounds, this also comes with some downsides. It feels the game should have invested a little more in substance. For example, you get a scanner that allows you to scan anomalies (yea, the "Stalker" anomalies you can think of like gravity inversion etc.) or artifacts. But from these special "currency" of Science-XP you can only buy simple stuff like medkids etc. So if you play on an easier difficulty this is completely wasted feature, even though on paper it sounds great. Another issue I had was the complexity of the quests, which not only have a terrible lot of backtracking (you have to cross the dome so many times because there is always someone who sends you to the opposite position) but also is the quest log terrible to read. At times you get a quest that consists of many different tasks but they are not just ticked but only appended. So you sometimes really don't see what is missing of your task because of maybe 5 subtasks you might have solved some but missed another and they sometimes only spell a name to talk to without a place etc. So without the walkthrough I would have been lost - and even with it I took almost 40 hours to complete the game (at maybe 80%). Last but not least, the end is a bit underwhelming. There are 14 different endings - which sadly don't feel like much progess I made. The game just "ends" and tells me in the usual "postcard" epilogue what happened to the people I met. This could have been a bit better since 20 minutes before that I had the impression I would still play 10 more hours. So I leveled my weapons, improved stats just to... finish the game? Don't get me wrong, I still had fun and it's out there for low money. So I recommend it. Still, be aware this won't be the smoothest gameplay. If you are in need of a new Wasteland/Fallout-RPG, this might be worth it however.

Ugh. I couldn't even get past the introduction. With apologies to Teen Titans Go: EXPOSITION! EXPOSITION! EXPOSITION! Man, it felt like I had to read War and Peace just to get to the first encounter. I wanted a video game, not a novel.
I could play as a sneaky diplomat from start to finish and it was funny, that's good enough for me.
I refuse to give this game a negative review because there's so many good pieces of juice here but I just don't enjoy frankly much about it. If you want an incredible setting with some great music and alright Fallout Tactics styled combat, this is for you.
It's ok. like fallout 1 and 2. if you don't like the characters talking, mute your computer or the game. I think I either got it on sale for $5 or part of a humble bundle. The game is ok if you see it on sale for $5. Full price, no. It is something you can do while you watch tv or whatever since it has turn based combat. Cheat Happens and Wemod have trainers for it if you want to make it easy, but it still has things you have to hunt around.
I like post-apocalyptic theme, and I have played Encased and Wasteland 3. Between these two, I prefer Wasteland 3 more, even though it was published earlier than Encased. I also like Encased, it is promising, but after 20h into the game I decided to stop. Combat is not as smooth as Wasteland 3. I cannot modify my stat, which is very limiting. I cannot control my Companions' skills. Enter a room with 20 interactable objects, just to loot garbage items. Stealth mode is almost useless.
Game is great. English translation is horrendous. It's a translation, not a localization, and a great example of how not to adapt a game for an internaional market. Play in Russian if you're fluent. You'll get stuck with a decent game otherwise — no jokes and cultural references for you. You can thank the translation team later.
The first 50% of the game was quite good - new world, lore, classes, mechanics etc. After that my enjoyment of the game started dropping with every hour. Same enemies, same fights, boring fetch quests, constant back tracking when you need to spend tons of time in real life getting to the same NPCs again and again, big empty town ... I'd give the first half of the game 7 out of 10 and the last part of the game - 2 out of 10, I simply wasn't enjoying at all. Overall rating - not recommended.
