Base management is nice and complex, many things you can play with. Graphics are outdated but alright to me. But the building system is cheap as ♥♥♥♥. "Oh you placed a half-wall? or a thin wall? or a LAMP? well this block is occupied now, cant place anything else here." Makes base- und ship-building way to clunky, ugly and inefficient to me. Not worth its money and not recommended.
After a thorough playtest, I have determined that this game is, by and large, trash. It's duct taped sloptarded work at best. The mod aka scenario RE2 kinda helps it out a bit, but, can't fix a game with poo poo foundations. Have fun trying to play with multiple people HAHAhahAHahhahhaha This game is almost abandonware. If you love endlessly collecting loot in a game where you are basically never under any threat unless you are negative IQ, buy this game on the biggest beefiest omega sale you can find.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

INSANELY complex game. I get why some reviews compared this to Space Engineers. Another game that I uninstalled for mostly the same reasons. I got stuck multiple times on the tutorial. I got past quit a few stuck moments to find that it was a misunderstanding of the instructions or something silly. After 5.5 hours of struggling through the TUTORIAL and honestly it wasn't a terrible experience I finally lost my patience with the complexity and realized I was no longer having fun struggling through the learning process. I can see how someone who suffered their way through the insane process of learning how to play this game would have such intense sunk cost that they'd be locked in for life but for 99% of players who try this game its going to be a hell no and its just a matter of how long it takes to cross your threshold to uninstall this game. When this game offered a play for free for 3 days I really struggled to even give this game a chance and spent a ton of time in the player reviews trying to convince myself to play. I now understand why there a few players out there with 8000 hours played and I 100% understand why this game has TERRIBLE overall reviews. The idea of what a game like this could be is way more compelling then any game has managed to pull yet. Swing and a miss. Uninstalled
Well, what can I say about this game, that justifies the negative review with over 200 hours playtime. It is easy to be fair. I bought the game at release in 2015, when it still was in Early Access. I had high hopes and totally could overlook the facts, that it was a mess still being formed into something. After 10 years and many of those little reminders, that the game got updated a lot of times, I thought to give it another try. And here comes the reason, why I give the game a negative review. The state of the game got worse. There are plenty of bugs, that never existed in the early access version and this game was released as final in 2020. We have 2026, so there is no excuse why this state is sold as a done game. The graphics are still clunky and ugly as hell, even after the engine upgrade, but that ain't the point here. The objects you can build are bugging like hell. Water Generators asking for a place in the water, while trying to place them deep under water. Large generators dropping after pickup from the small generator, because the inventory is full (while being completely empty). Capacitators for Solar Cells not being recognized at all. I didn't even continue from this point on, since I don't see any reason to. This were the first 2 1/2 hrs in Single Player after coming back after a 8 year break from the game. Just to be clear, this problems didn't exist back then. This game clearly needs a huge update, where the developers fix all the stuff in the game, that is broken and this would take another 4 years with a good developer team.
You'll see a lot of people on here with thousands of hours and a negative review. This game has been around a long while. Back when your choices for space survival sandbox were janky Space Engineers and janky Empyrion, this was the somewhat more polished and accessible game. Like SE, the developers keep supporting this game and releasing updates and content. Unlike the SE developers, they don't hit you every few weeks with a new DLC that adds some decorative blocks and not much else. Kudos to them for keeping it up. The game is a little less in-depth than SE (won't even talk about SE2, yet), but it's fun and the various races and space stations are a fun distraction. There's some things that are just fun to do -- like build big carriers and ships, go mining, traverse star systems, etc. There's different biomes and places to go. Take a look at the Reforged Eden mod. For the price and lower-end system specs, this is a fun game, more so if you have an older potato that won't play newer stuff. It has it's bugs, but nothing so shattering that you can't recover. It loads quick enough.
played a few years back was good no problem. come back still not to bad different start cool do start missions try side mission side mission bugs out so i cant progress the main as it kicks me out of the main quest and i have to go back to contuine it. take on a dungon kills me a few time reload a back up where i was back one mission go to redo mission wont progress decide screw it i will restrart with a new game not to far in get to the same mission the side quest activates (didnt start the repeatable side quest in this run) as soon as i reach the same area on a diffrent save. what the hell locked out. bruh what happend to this game
The net coding or general FPS coding has never been fixed so PVE in FPS is crap. (dont try to shoot past an edge or corner, your clean line of sight is not clear) A game that represents technology, will only let you play "sword and board" play style, don't try to out smart the enemy using the tech provided, the developers will just find a way to stop you. You have to play thier retarded play style or not play, your choice. Same goes for RE2 Lots of hours because I keep retrying (with hope) then always smack my head against the same wall eventually, since the player pays for the game, maybe they should be able to play the way they want. Now to many POIs are protected so your only option is to walk through the front door, what a retarded way to engage an enemy.
