This is NOT a good game. Thankfully I bought it with a deep discount, and even that's robbery. My first 5hr impression is atrocious. Don't torture yourself unless your getting paid good money for it. Think coop will make it all better? Get out a candelabra and go down an 8 story spiral staircase in a dimly lit dungeon in an abandoned 3rd world country and you might find someone else interested in being frustrated with you. Solo is an extremely bland experience, and by the way the official tutorial does not flow into the primary game mode. Good luck with that. The tiny text (Font is an aggravating size 5) tutorials in a series of unsweepable menu functions will make you punch your own face a few times a minute. The UI is cookie cutter style for this genre of game, creativity must have been thrown out the window. I'm pretty sure they hired folks that Minecraft said no to. Graphics are N64 style for my PC when compared to some players I watched online. BUT wait there's more! Want to get into the story? Talk to cool NPC's? Care to pilot a behemoth spaceship with all the bells and whistles? Want to be involved on unique faction missions? Kill bugs, bots, aliens, and villainy? WELL too bad! It takes a half a decade to memorize key functions and sub functions. On average, it took me a casual player 10 seconds to navigate between the right pop-up text tutorial boxes to understand what I had to press on the keyboard to collect and sort-of auto assemble in specific machines that compound new and old recipes. To get the right materials to process parts to configure together is NOT simple and streamlined imo. I could learn perfect calligraphy or all Asian language characters with a paint brush in my mouth outside during a constant thunderstorm faster than the game mechanics. Life is too short for a game to require more time to learn than a thesis paper on Quantum Mechanics. For reference, I completed my Electro Chemical Machine Operator certification faster than I built a wooden base on this. (Unfortunately, that wasn't a joke.) I pray you did not become a financial victim spending your hard collected money on the broken DLC let alone the core game... Live, play, and spend wisely folks. Hopefully some major overhauls happen, its borderline unplayable. I'll update if I get the ambition to try this hodgepodge of game functions again. At least the barrier to entry in this keeps annoying children from playing.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I would say that I am hooked on this game. I often die several times, my bases get destroyed, my transport gets destroyed, then I start all over again! I am 74 now and it still give me a chill in my spine when I hear rustling in the undergrowth! I started playing this game when it was free and still being developed. I think they call it early access. I have had to upgrade my computer a few times, but it has been worth it.
Honestly not a great game for a new player. Game is nothing like the listing leads one to think it will be. Logged into game, took me 10 minutes to bludgeon graphics settings to not be actively out of focus. Spent another half hour reading through dozens of pages of technical manuals on how to "have fun" playing this game. To be clear, I have read and written actual technical manuals, I have learned to operate computer controlled machinery worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, I have rebuilt engines and built actual rockets. All of that was considerably easier than figuring out how to build a basic wooden base in this “game” which I would not play again for anything less than $50/hour and even then I’d need a hell of a benefits package. 0/10 would rather run a carbon arc gouger inside a giant bell with no hearing protection or protective gear while being bathed in bleach.
loved this game and spent over 300 hours creating tonnes of stuff when it was first released on beta .... but then i couldn't play for a few months... and when i came back it had all updated and everything i had spent all my time and effort finding and building was gone - no resources, items anything - massively annoyed and disappointed I loved the game, I just got screwed over by 'updates'
This game is absolute azz, Don't recall who, or what recommended this too me. Been sitting in my library. Here in 2026 the game looks terrible (on all max settings even), very amateurish. Almost no visual or audio feedback when harvesting things. There is only one multiplayer game with even one player in it (for obvious reason). Compare this to "No Man's Sky" (or any other space sim) I played in the last ten years, and there is no comparison. This complete garbage. I got to stop watching YT videos that tell me games like this are/were good..
Still very active servers! Amazing game play. Needs to update monsters and add a lot more monsters, however awesome combat and building combo!
This game is complete garbage. I do not know what happened to the graphics engine, but the game is simply ugly and pixelated now. I may even delete it permanently from my library, honestly, as it does not seem like the game is going to improve.
First of all, this game doesn't support EAC on Linux. Secondly, you need a big notepad to keep track of where you found all your ores. There is no in-game search feature to help you remember where you found them across the hundreds of planets you've visited.
