Element-174 - Part 1

Element-174 has a little bit of everything in its first part, set over two weeks. Sci-fi dystopian where you're humanity's last hope? Sure. Aliens? Okay. A cult? An immortal? A superhero? A woman with superhuman powers? Time travelers? I mean, it's all there. Oh, and you get to bang all of them. So, there's that. Pluses - the story is absurd, but also fun and interesting. There are a number of body types which is rare in this genre. The writing is pretty good. Definitely not groundbreaking, but good. There are plenty of scenes. Minuses - Speaking of scenes, it's a bit on the vanilla side and there is a formula with most of the girls you get with. There are a few lesbian scenes and you can dream about getting involved, but there's no actual involvement. The renders, especially the animations, look outdated and jarring at times. There's music and sound effects, though no voice or fun time noises. The sound effects are often a bit louder than they need to be, especially during the fight sequences. Both a plus and a minus - Few AVNs have more branching storylines than this one. I'd say about 80% of your choices actually matter which sounds great in theory. The negative is that if you want to see all the different possible branches to potentially grab all the achievements, you either spend a ridiculous amount of time or find a guide. Even with the guide, it took me 11 hours for one playthrough where I didn't care about anything but the story and then several playthroughs after to open up all of the characters, scenes, and get all the achievements. It's a bit excessive. That said, I applaud the effort to try to give the user not just their money's worth, but meaningful decisions throughout the game. Overall, on a scale of 1-to-10, I'd give this a 7.5 and recommend it not just at a sale price, but full price. It's a great effort from a small game publisher. It has its faults, of course, but it's worth a placement on the second tier of AVNs out there.

[h1]종합평가 : Tier - D (4 티어)[/h1] 16명의 히로인을 회차별로 공략하는 게임입니다. 한 회차당 공략할 수 있는 대상이 한정되어있고, 무려 16명이라는것은 그 말인즉 스토리는 매우 짧다는 뜻이죠. 그런데 그 짧은 스토리에 각 히로인들이 각자 자신만의 비밀을 숨기고 있는데.. 이게 그냥 단순히 여자의 비밀~ 이런 수준이 아니고.. 자기가 인간인줄 아는 사이보그 클론 부터 시작해서 인간으로 변신한 외계인, 물을 두려워하는 좀비 염동력자, 터치한 대상과 생각을 공유하는 자 19살 생일에 죽는 저주를 받은 자, 불멸자, 해외 스파이, 음모론자, 사이비 종교 추종자 시간여행하는 전사, 초인 자경단 .... 이런 조온나 판타스틱한 주제를 가지고 그 짧은 스토리내에 담으려고 하면 어떻게 되겠습니까? 이렇게 되죠. 해보시면 압니다. 시발 진짜.. 프리로밍은 없고, 대화지문 양자택일로 스토리가 갈립니다. 돈주고 산거 아까워서 모든 루트 다 클리어 하고, 엔딩도 다 보고, 도전과제도 다 완수했습니다만 삭제하는데 아무런 미련이 없습니다. 홀가분하네요. 렌더링은 많이 형편없고, 애니메이션은 쓰레기이며 스토리는 뭔 소리인지도 모르겠고, 심지어 야스씬은 노꼴입니다. 아니 그냥 전체적으로 재미도 없고, 흥미롭지도 않습니다. 즉 스토리와 꼴림 그 어느쪽도 잡지 못한 반푼이 게임입니다. [b]'야한'[/b] 게임도, 야한 [b]'게임'[/b]도 아닌 그저 어중간하게 [b]'야'[/b]한 게임 입니다..... 야!!!! 더욱이 이거 쓰다가 이제서야 알았네요. 위에 제목 옆에 Part 1 이라고 쓰여있었다는것을... 아니야.. 괜찮아... part 2 안만들어도 될 것 같아..

I found this game interesting and entertaining. The background story is skillfully written, sexual pictures and visual animation support the story. As you proceed through the game you are provide with choices to build your character personality, social and sexual behavior. As the story continues to unfolds you are provide with more choices that effect the different personalities, sexual desires, and experiences that shape the relationship of the women that enter your character’s life. The downside of background story is that it does not explain why your character has the financial ability to pay for everything, when the story indicates that character was doing nothing significantly with his life, before he receiving the scholarship to Branchfield University.

Very good game, the multiple paths are intriguing in how they interact in a way unusual for the AVN style. More game, less random F-fest.

有点抽象的黄油剧情有点魔幻

After playing for like a week in-game time, I felt pretty locked into my choices for romance here. With a huge cast of girls, I only really made developments with two, and those seemed shoehorned. And the one girl is so cute that when she declared her love for me and the inevitable lewd scene began, I felt dirty, turned the game off, and haven't had any desire to resume play. Maybe I'm just burnt out on these erotic visual novel games. Not sure I could stomach another game where you're a first year college student, no matter what twist they try to insert into the plot.
