Kind of a short but fun experience. Buy it on sale.
I almost made this a positive review. Melee in First Person games is tricky but mostly it worked. Mostly the game was fun. The initial dungeon levels were. The city level got a bit messy and confused and, in particular, I wasted a lot of time because it was unclear what I was meant to do. Then we hit a series of pointless arenas, hoard mode with increasingly hostile levels; holes in the floor, fire or stepped levels designed to kill your mobility. It served no purpose except to extend play time and only managed to spoil the game for me.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Rating ★★★☆☆ (3/5) Swing, Wander, Repeat Melee combat is supposed to be the star here, but it comes down to light attack, heavy attack, blocking and kicking with no combos to speak of, and it gets dull fast. You fight the same enemy types all throughout, and the bosses are just damage sponges. Kicking is completely overpowered, fall damage is so high that shoving enemies off a ledge beats actually fighting them. Maps rarely make objectives clear, and I usually spent longer wandering than fighting. Finally the story is barely present, told through scattered notes you will likely ignore. Worth at a discount.
I finished this game twice in two or three sittings. That's how much fun this game is. Just buy and play it. Especially when it's on sale there is no reason not to.
Its an amazing but short video game, great design, flawless controls, amazing gameplay its just too short, sound is good, music is even better. I wish it was optimized a bit better, its ok, but on 4k its not performing that well.
игра забагалась на прохождении разрушенного города, генератор для центральной башни крутится но дальше ниче не происходит, софтлок, дроп, желания проходить заново до этой локи нет (босс + 3 арены)
Neither "Metal" nor anything like a Souls-game (except for respawning enemies when using fountains). Most weapons suck, Chapter 2 is a miserable experience if you are using one that can't parry. Speaking of Chapter 2: ugly, confusing, annoying. Chapter 3 is not even worth talking about. This game might have been fun, if they only released Chapter 1 as a free prologue or something.
Like if Elden Ring and DOOM had a baby. This is so much fun, there's not really anything to tell you where to go or what to do, but it's pretty closed loop, so there's a satisfying certainty to figure it out. Loads of weapons, challenges, and rewarding leveling system, but punishing that forces you to stop and learn the patterns and mechanics. Absolutely recommend.
