Best SAO game
After 22 hours, I think I can finally give an honest opinion. If you're a **Sword Art Online fan**, this game has something special. The story is faithful to the anime, and exploring Aincrad with your own character is something I've wanted for years. Despite its flaws, I genuinely found myself getting invested in the adventure and wanting to keep playing. That being said, the game definitely feels rough around the edges. The PC version has performance issues, noticeable FPS drops, lip-sync problems, stiff animations, and the lack of proper 21:9 support during cutscenes is disappointing. For a full-price release, I expected a much more polished experience. I also wish the custom protagonist had voiced dialogue. It sometimes feels strange to be the main character while staying completely silent during important story moments. Still, after more than 20 hours, I keep coming back because the game captures the atmosphere of SAO surprisingly well. Exploring Aincrad, progressing through the floors, improving my gear, and following the story has been genuinely enjoyable. So, would I recommend it? **Yes... but with some conditions.** * If you're a **Sword Art Online fan**, you'll probably overlook many of its technical flaws because the game delivers the feeling of living your own Aincrad adventure. * If you're looking for a polished Action RPG comparable to the biggest AAA releases, you may be disappointed. Overall, I'd say it's a game with a lot of heart that deserved several more months of polish before release. Enjoy!
V Stepped Into The Crowd
the game gets better once you reach the 2nd floor.
Pre order a review -Attempt 18 Very hard Deathless- *Ongoing* I am enjoying the game. My only gripes are: - The Camera Swapping could be smoother its sticky and feels wonky when surrounded(most of the time). * Linking it to PC scroll wheel would be nice. -Bandai Namco let the studio do their thing I hope Co-op is possible if game if received well. -Enemy Ai around the terrain is wonky (useful to know if in very hard playthrough) - ENEMYS SPAWN FROM THIN AIR NO ANIMATION OR MAP radar PING. *This has happened a few times not sure if dev's intended this. its Ambush level and run ending if your not careful. Movie was -_- Kirigaya the goat is unstoppable. (good to hear the Va again) MC -_- got Epstein almost so trigger warning. I am hungry for content im not refunding. Lets see what you got Devs I will Parry that 😏🚶♂️
I definitely think this would be a great game may not be the best game right now may never be the best game but I think it could become great I just believe the creators need to spend more time on it and if they can make it co-op or full online they'll make it even better
the game is absolutely phenomenal. the people hating on it are mostly jumping on the bandwagon. "only has two floors" two floors is better than 100 soulless floors. i loved hollow fragment but the floors were just reskins more oft than not. and that was only 24. "doesnt have XX weapon" there is variants within weapon classes covering them, ie greataxe has a scythe. or people complaining "death game modes locked behind paying or clearing" yea, most games lock hard modes behind first time clear. like diablo. or even, EVERY OTHER SAO GAME. one of the only semi valid complaints is open world, and even then the zones as you progress through quests just get larger and larger, and like other aspects, most all sao games ALSO had zoning. now granted this ones borders can make it a little...awkward. so that is a problem. id say the games a solid 7.5/10
