Brings back my childhood!

Would not recommend purchasing, freezes up entire desktop when trying to exit, enough said. No controller support, keyboard controls are wonky.

Full of bugs, controls do not always work and the audio clips out most of the time, so you are left with just music without any sound effects. This is not worth the money, even for the full game pack.

Plays in dosbox, a small little box that takes up about 10% of the screen. I was able to get an x-box 360 controller to work to an extent with this game, but there are broken areas in this port. Green orbs are broken as are the rails in the 3rd level.

The Greatest Game... EVER! (According to wormkind) One of many ports, Earthworm Jim DOS is a solid conversion. Its more in line with the GENESIS original, though it borrows the music and bonus voice lines from the SEGA CD version. I wish it also carried over the SEGA CD's (or Windows 95's) extra levels too. It always feels like in every re-release (and remake) of the original, we seem to get just the ORIGINAL and not the definitive Special Edition. While I've seen arguments for the HD Remake, I do agree it should be available to buy... but only for the multiplayer levels and the bonus computer levels. I don't think it should replace the original whatsoever, the Windows 95 one should... especially since we never got EWJ 2: HD. If you've never played EWJ before... what are you waiting for? The super suit's getting dusty.

good game

The backround and foreground can be a little tricky deciphering which is which due to the wacky level design but all and all it is a great 2dplatformer. Just a really bad port, find elsewhere if you can.
