Ea you guys are a fuggin idiots. Forcing your customers to identify their biology is insanely weird and completely irrelevant in a video game, especially in a golf game...Nevertheless, that can be brushed aside, along with all the questionable traits of the character choices.. But when your game is a complete, massive steaming pile of garbage doo doo, and is easily outpaced in graphics, physics, game-play, etc than Tiger Woods 2005 on GameCube, all the while being scammed for 60 bucks? Under zero circumstances, would i ever consider recommending this rotten asss butt burp or any other floatin turd yet to be coming down the pipe from Ea. Ever.
wasnt even able to play, luckily bought on sale. connecting to ea servers took up pretty much all of my acreddited play time to the game. ( my internet connection was fine) after about the fourth time restarting the game i was able to connect, i go to start a career tournement, get to the loading screen and boom crashes with an unkown hard error, ( this happened in offline mode aswell)

I constantly have problems getting this game to load under Steam. It is always something different. Now I am getting a notice that the APP Fails to load. I have tried many things but have not been successful. I'd really like to move my game out of Steam and somewhere else. This cost a lot of money and hate to lose the "Achievements" I've dedicated time to getting. But this recurring issue with loading the game is just too frustrating. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO PLAY ONLINE GAMES!!!!
The online mode often doesn't work, can't play with friends, after finding out, right after this game was released, EA Dump fired all the staff of this game, so since the game was released there has been no support staff, as well as the staff used for bug fixes, you should only buy this game if you like playing golf and are willing to play alone in default mode
It's not great, but it's the best we got. Definitely miss Tiger Woods 09.
EA servers are run by a 85 year old man using a fax machine to send data packets. Its a good game but you will get disconnected at least once an hour. And no, my internet is not the issue, i have a ping average of 5 and download speeds of 120mbps min. Theres community run servers that run better than EAs
Abandoned by EA or not, this is the best golf game I've ever played on the screen. Its engaging, fun to play, challenging and relaxing. Just mute the music, mute commentators and it becomes a perfect companion for listening of the audiobook or podcast. With current 80% discount, the value for money is outstanding and if you are looking for a golf simulator, I can't recommend it enough.
Beautifully laid out.. and I am sure that if I wanted to devote the same amount of time into this game as I do the rest of my life, then I would enjoy this game to the fullest extent. If, however you have a mortgage to pay, or kids school tuition, or a career, then you likely don't have the time to devote to each and every ******* shot type, for every ******* undulation, for every ******* hole, then move on to something else... Otherwise, if you do have that type of time... then don't forget to drop a few blades of grass on to your keyboard to see which direction the wind is blowing in from. FORE!
Недавно захотелось поиграть в современный гольф-сим, в результате чего купил на распродаже EA Sports PGA Tour. Почему не взял игру от конкурентов (PGA 2К23, PGA 2K25)? Там, насколько понял, прокачка гольфиста сильнее завязана на гринде, и чем дальше, тем больше тебя будут склонять к тому, чтобы ты купил игровые плюшки за донат. 2К собаку съела в мастерстве прикручивать микротранзакции ко всему и вся. Да, в игре ЕА подобное тоже есть, но более мягко. - По тем обзорам, которые читал и смотрел, режим карьеры здесь куда лучше сделан, чем у 2К. - Легендарный чемпионат The Masters, проходящий в реале ежегодно в Огасте на поле Augusta National, лицензирован только у ЕА, поэтому в играх от 2К он отсутствует. - В игре от ЕА аж 39 полей для гольфа, у конкурентов 29-30. - Графика игры радует, цена тоже приятнее )) - Куча режимов игры для оффлайна, куча оффлайновых заданий/испытаний, в т.ч. обучающих; в онлайне куча всяких дэйликов, еженедельных и ежемесячных состязаний. - Играется приятно, учиться есть чему. Гибкие настройки уровня сложности и помощников. Не знаю, сколько времени ЕА будет держать сервера игры включенными, но надеюсь, что даже после отключения серверов можно будет свободно играть хотя бы против ботов в оффлайне. Да, режим карьеры игрока канет в лету, т.к. это по сути онлайновый режим…Но у конкурентов с этим вообще всё сурово, судя по их более ранним гольф-симам: вот в PGA 2K21 сервера отключат осенью 2025 года, и в игре останется доступным только режим соло-игры, так он даже без ботов, т.е. по сути чисто практика, а все остальные режимы и контент завязаны на наличии онлайна. Аналогично было и в играх серии The Golf Club, что не удивительно – те игры делали те же разработчики, что и сейчас делают гольф-симы под «патронажем» в лице 2К, когда их купили с потрохами…Итого: PGA 2К23 и 2К25 в ближайшие годы тоже превратятся в «тыкву», и куда более дурно пахнущую, чем у ЕА. Вероятно, что нового гольфа от ЕА в ближайшее время не предвидится, так что рекомендую сабж…ну или там совсем уж старые игры ЕА про Тайгера Вудса, они на ПК выходили до 2007 года. Ранние гольфы от 2К уже «тыквы», да и их просто не купить, а на последних двух играх «любимый» геймерами DRM на букву Д…Есть демка у PGA 2K25, кстати. Пока не понял, почему у игры такой низкий рейтинг в Стиме.
