Its hot garbage sloppily thrown together
Well I would like this game a Hell of a lot better if skirmish mode was available. ;) This was a fun throwback to the oldschool Command & Conquer games. I think they captured the feeling well. I got a little frustrated with the campaign but i will revisit when skirmish mode comes out & I also hope for mods at some point. But yeah its a fun solid RTS game.
Gameplay is too slow, with no way to adjust it. Old C&C games let you do this. Also radar screen is obscured by build menu, why design it that way? Just buy one of the remasters, this aint it.
highgy recommend this game for anyone wanting cnc style gameplay. also its fun and pretty amazing. dont listen to the don't recommend comments. their bunch of kids complaining the game is hard or its buggy or their issues with it. reminder: the game is in EA (Early Access) and will be for a while only came out last year. hey i'm still waiting for skirmish here. have fun :D
This is the best modern rendition of a Command & Conquer game that I have seen... This brings me back to the OG Red Alerts. 11/10
While I would kill for a skirmish or free play mode, there is clear love here and it's worth every cent. It's in the menu, I know I'll get it eventually, but I'll be waiting impatiently.
The game is an extremely rough state, feels like a beta test. Units move faster than you can scroll. There is NO option to increase/decrease scroll speed. There NO option to increase/decrease game speed. Pathfinding is super wonky, units will get "stuck" on something and just move back and forth endlessly instead of moving around the obstacle. Both saving and loading will completely lock up the computer and takes more than 30 seconds most times, even on high end hardware. Enemy units are MUCH MUCH stronger than the player's units, takes 4-5 of my rifleman to kill 1 enemy rifleman. EVERY SINGLE LEVEL starts with THE EXACT SAME SONG and plays them in THE EXACT SAME ORDER. There are ZERO options to shuffle or randomize the music. Speaking of "options" I have never seen a game with such stripped down options menu. Audio is just volume sliders, nothing else. Video LITERALLY only includes changing res and fullscreen/window switch. Likewise, the Controls setting tab only lets you change hotkeys, NOTHING ELSE. LMAO its so bad its actually funny. The list of major issues goes on, just read the discussions. Don't recommend buying this game until the devs decide to actually listen and fix these problems. As of the time I am writing, every single patch has been about things no one asked for while ignoring what players requested be changed. Speaks volumes about the devs motivations. IMO most of this game feels AI generated, from the assets to the cutscenes, I would not be surprised to find the developer doesn't actually know how to fix many of these issues.
It's been a year and it's still slow and boring. Factions almost same, actors has no charisma of original don't support this slop i regret giving them chance
Its not very often a game actually pisses me off with how bad it is, its even rarer ill refund a game, especially a RTS game but these have managed it, they went with copying the original C&C, which other than cnc4 is the worse of the series, but even a game 30 year old pisses on this dumpster fire, it was bad because it was old, following C&Cs improved vastly, what is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuse? its like a bunch of clowns sat around a table after been up all drinking n said you know what would be funny, making a RTS game, googling the first RTS games, seeing command and conquer then just trying to copy that but make it worse in every possible way like its a big joke. for reference, cnc red alert is by far my most replayed command and conquer.
