南極を舞台とした短編ホラーゲーム まずまず楽しめましたが 1時間以内でクリアしてしまったので正直おすすめかどうかは微妙です 開発元のSteam第一作目なので 今後に期待して👍しておきます
Great sound design and puzzles, quite atmospheric as well. A great lovecraft game and I've played quite a bunch. The ending is a bit anticlimatic, but would still recommend.
It's the South Pole and there are Elder Signs, that is about where the Lovecrfatian part ends. Puzzles are related to sound ques and if you don't get that, you can more or less brute force most of them. Other than sounds, there is not much help. For about half an hours playtime, this game is way over-priced compared to what it brings to the table.
It's a fairly immersive, hour-long, one shot adventure. Which makes it an enjoyable little game to kick back and decompress with after work. However, there is no way I can recommend anyone buy this game for $8. I picked it up on summer sale for $2.39, which feels okay for the value.
Loosely based on novel At The Mountains of Madness, by H.P. Lovecraft, it brings cosmic horror with a retro PS1 vibe right into your screen. The puzzles, although I failed to see any hints on how to solve them, are easy to understand and solve. It is at his core a walking sim with puzzle elements, and a my only caveat with it is the short run time, although it's only because I would loved to have seen more of it. Absolutely recommended. I had a blast exploring this game. It is truly a simplistic lovecraftian gem. If you enjoy a slow paced adventure that leaves a lot of room for the imagination and fun puzzles then you'll enjoy this. If you're a fan of the Cthulhu mythos and cosmic horror by Howard Philips Lovecraft then that definetly adds to the experience.
