This game was such a blast to play! So much fun exploring & collecting everything! Story is amazing made me wanna shed some tears. Truly felt the pain of the characters. Really loved the random references put throughout the game. Always when you least expect it. Runs perfectly on Steam Deck didn’t have a single issue playing. Highly recommend 10/10! Can only hope they release dlc for this game I’d buy it in a heartbeat!

A very fun game with an inspiring overall theme that most anyone can relate to when it comes to grief, past mistakes, and gratitude. I can clearly see the influences that created the underpinnings of this game, mainly from the art design perspective, and that world is probably the thing that initially hooked me the most. I will say that I think the base combat can be clunky and sluggish, therefore the fun of the combat is totally dependent on the player's ability to master roll cancelling and roll dashing to really "get on with it" and feel a sense of freedom in both movement and fighting. Learning those quirky aspects of the game is part of the fun for me. However, if that were not there this game's combat would probably feel hellishly lack luster to me. As far as issues with the game itself running, I only remember having one instance where the game encountered a so-called "fatal error" and froze. Other than that, the game runs well and the graphics and smoothness are not a problem at all. In conclusion, I had a great time exploring the world and learning more about the lore, as well fleshing out certain combat elements (although there is still much to be discovered) and gaining that sense of freedom as the game progressed. I wish the best for the team and hope they make more good games in the future. Thanks.
