About
Dungeons & Kingdoms is a medieval fantasy strategy and RPG hybrid. Take control as leader of a small group of refugees fleeing from an unlivable homeland. Make landfall in a new world and start a new life. Build everything yourself. Or lay down blueprints and give orders to your loyal colonists. Build infrastructure, manage needs, gather resources, farm crops and hunt wild animals. Do whatever it takes to survive.
Then dive into dangerous dungeons and face the monsters within. Explore every room, test your combat abilities and defeat the dungeon bosses to reap the rewards, unlock new resources and advance your tech.
Forage and farm for food to keep your villagers alive. Craft tools. Harvest resources to build shelters and early buildings to advance your economy. You'll need to brave realistic full day and night cycles as you live through the seasons and gain valuable skills and knowledge.
Upgrade and construct unique buildings through a modular building system. Mix and match over 100 unique building pieces, with more to come during early access. Create buildings from scratch or make blueprints that you can edit, improve, and share on the Steam Workshop.
Sculpt the terrain and make it hospitable for your new settlement - Flatten large areas for farming, raise or lower platforms for building plots, fill in valleys, dig out moats and trenches. Paint lush grassy and forest areas or remove vegetation to make room for more roads, buildings, and people.
Take on the dangers that live outside your walls. Hunt wild beasts to feed your villagers and protect the roads from outlaws and raiders in third person action RPG style combat. Protect your people, defend your lands, and project your kingdom's power.
Discover ancient ruins and temples, then face the monsters within. Explore every room, test your combat abilities and defeat the dungeon bosses to reap the rewards and advance your kingdom's tech

Jogo tem potencial porem muitos bugs , jogo esta poluido visualmente ,falta linguagem PTBR . The game has potential but has many bugs, is visually cluttered, and lacks Brazilian Portuguese language support.
I’ve received this game from Demo (Oct/7) to EA release (Nov/17) and aside from receiving the game for free we do work on honesty and support for small developers and understand the current state, we do take care on making a good review for everyone but players come first in many situations. There’s two parts that can be reviewed apart and can be enjoyed completely different: + Creative (Rate 7/10) : It shows the true potential the game has, allowing players to build a full city for those who want to enjoy a cosy townbuilder. It can be great at the moment since it has a lot of buildings, parts, characters and more, to the point the images were created using all the games assets. The problem is not many players will focus on just going into creative, along with Creative controls not being the best and it takes a lot of time to find workarounds to make a good looking city. Graphics do look great and you can make awesome landscapes, but the game does not focus on this and neither do players when you can go into a Sandbox Mode… + Sandbox (Live viewers Rate 4/10): Here’s where many players will fall and where all the problems start. - Player and NPCs You can start the game alone or with only 3 NPCs, these NPCs can help you do a lot of the heavy work, when they are not stuck forcing you to manually “Reset” them, you have to do a lot of clicking to assign them back and forth from the only 4 jobs they have along with the constructions you build and have to assign them. - Tutorial/Journal The tutorial is a bit easy and you can just ignore it (strongly advised) and just read the Journal instead of being followed by an NPC asking to talk to him again-and-again after each-and-every part of the quest you complete, it does teach you the basics on how to create a tool, assign NPCs to jobs and other small parts, problem comes with the building part where it can be vague and hard to follow, along with being way to much to reading instead of play the game. - Construction Construction, Snaps, View and almost everything around it is hard to understand, you have to plan the blueprint and then assign a worker from small pool of NPCs to start working on it, almost 3 hours (live) and they couldn’t finish a single small home and they just cutted a dozen trees, extremely slow if I have to point it out, and lumberjacks being stuck a lot of the time, and trees becoming unusable for breaking into smaller log pieces. - Manual Crafting Manual crafting feels like a burden, for a simple axe you have to pick 2 rocks, craft rock chisel, pick another rock and craft the axe head, throw it in the ground, then pick up a stick, craft it into a handle, pick the handle and the axe head again, craft the axe, include between all this steps hitting X key to open the personal character menu then selecting manual crafting then the part you are crafting, Yes a lot of other games has ruined the experience and have a lot less inputs to just craft a simple Axe and hopefully in the future there is a faster way. - The Mine Quest and Combat Combat is way too green, forcing you to change stances (V key), not many or none weapons if you follow the tutorial and no way to heal yourself, after failing the quest takes forever to return and low health is annoying again since we don’t have a way to heal. Other personal points: There is no Ultrawide support which for me and many players can be a negative aspect, losing a few sides on the screen to a black screen is no way enjoyable, even worse for livestreaming. Suggestion: Focus on the core and initial parts of the game instead of trying to polish parts we won’t even reach after hours of gameplay. EA Current State: Nowadays a lot go games release as EA and are not even close to it, seeing a lot of features still behind a “Locked for Full Release” or “To be upgraded in next updates” is another way to say this is not a complete or near a complete game, I do wish the game becomes a great hit and can turn around a lot of the comments this included and I’ll update as updates come. If you ask me and to be extremely honest it has a great creative mode. For respect I won't even comment on the price.
Really wish Steam would give an option for middle of the road for recommendations. Great ideas, and could be a very good game. However right now as it sits, I can not recommend. It's janky janky, the UI is, hmm, terrible! how to control your peoples is off the wall crazy. Its like a menu based command, but yet you got to "place" items to build. Very hard to do. I am not going to request refund, as I hope developers can fix UI, and that would fix 80% of my complaints. I'd recommend a radial menu/build system. and speed up the walking speed pllleeaase!
Game has a lot of promise if the developers put in the work, at its current state I'd say its a shell of a game and the possibilities could be endless. I bought it because it was on sale and hopefully it will help them move the game along to bigger and better patches updates and finishings.
The idea of this game is strong and unique but needs alot of work and i dont think it should have been released yet but if a influx of cash was needed to get over the hurdle i understand. They also need to release alot more of the content deemed for "full game". its early access let players mess with every aspect of the game built up to that point.
garbage....id rather watch burn victim porn then play this demo.
So... There's definitely some jank. But the overall concept is great. I'll be following this one and hope the developer doesn't give up on it.I had fun with the demo and a little bit of gameplay. I'll be experimenting more with the game to see what else I can come up with.
Good idea terrible interface Very early release needs tonnes of work
Way too early for an EA release
This game looks like it has a lot of potential, but just going through the tutorial is annoying. Just trying to craft an axe. "I don't have a simple axe handle" Ok, craft one. "I don't have a simple axe head" ok, craft one. "I don't have a simple axe handle" Where tf did the one I just crafted go? Ok, I'll find it or just make another one. Find/craft new axe handle. "I don't have a simple axe head" wtf. By the time I finally managed to craft an axe, I had crafted like 5 or 6 handles, and several axe heads. Then there are moments where things seem to lock, and I can't move at all. Figured out I need to reopen one of the menus I had open so I can start moving again. Annoying when you switched through several different menus, so then you have to open and close each to figure out which one will let you move again. Sometimes pressing esc works, sometimes it doesn't. If just trying to start out is this annoying, I'd hate to see what the game is like when you start getting into more advanced things. The UI is a little confusing too. Opened an inventory thing that surrounded the character. No clue how I opened it. The items you hold is confusing too. It seemed like I could hold items of different types, but I couldn't..? where did the item I was holding before go? Did I drop it? Why is it still showing in my held items if its saying I don't have it when I try crafting. Ok, I think I dropped it... or maybe it vanished into the void? Lets make another one. Now where did the other item I had go? The game like I said looks like it has potential, and I plan on keeping it to return to after time has passed. If you want a game like this though, I'd suggest playing Aska if you haven't already.
