I don't see myself beating Boss 2, so I'm just not even going to bother. A pretty lackluster retro platformer. Feels kind of unforgiving, but I guess that's the point. There are unexplainable frame drops every few minutes where the game almost freezes and then resumes. I wouldn't recommend buying this to be honest, unless it's like 50 cents.

Минусы: неудобное управление (особенно стрельба — нужно постоянно нажимать кнопку); однотипные враги; слабый саундтрек; почти нет сюжета; высокая сложность. Итог: подойдёт любителям хардкорных ретро‑платформеров и метроидваний. Затягивает геймплеем и вызовами, но может отпугнуть сложностью и устаревшим звуком/управлением.

Dungeon of Zolthan is a short but charming retro Metroidvania that nails the nostalgic Atari/NES feel with its neon wireframe visuals and chiptune soundtrack. The boss fights are the highlight — each one has a unique mechanic that pushes the simple run-jump-shoot gameplay in interesting directions, and unlocking new abilities like the dash and double jump gives a satisfying sense of progression. At under an hour for a first playthrough, the brevity is a real limitation, and the looping music wears thin fast. For 99 cents, though, it delivers exactly what it promises: a tight little platformer that respects your time and your wallet.

Ничего крышесносного, просто казуальный платформер. Он не кривой, за такую цену больше и не надо. Отдельный респект за то что в достижениях нет ноу деза.
