Awfully balanced and frustrating in an unsatisfying way. Far too easy to mess something up in a single instant, like accidentally pressing on another room with a character on operating duty or missing instances of low health. If you don't follow a whiteboard of 'meta' then you just get steamrolled by the monsters. A game like this that expects you to lose this much would benefit from a between-runs upgrade system, but there's no such thing - the opposite, even: upgrades to your towers are all lost once a run is lost, and a loss can come so quickly and non-negotiable that the sudden wipe of progress is a total gut-punch every time. And all that aside it just feels weak to play: lack of sound effects to power-ups, visually noisy and noisily mushy, annoyingly slow to move around characters when you want at least one to remain in place elsewhere, level-ups feel weak and so do most item stat boosts. You'll feel like you're on a good, powerful run and then on a later floor something will bash down a door and the game will just decide that you've had enough fun and squash you. I did not enjoy this P.o.S. game.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

10/10 game I've played this off an on for years. Mostly co-op but lots of time solo. Truly no idea why it suddenly has mixed reviews. It's novel, engaging, each playthrough offers something new. This game is worth the 12 dollars, easily.

Such an amazing arcadey and rogue-like game with small rpg elements.
I really love this game. I just fired it up again after not playing for around 5 years. It's a dungeon crawler/tower-defense/economy-management game with excellent gameplay, beautiful pixel art, and an immersive soundtrack. Not to mention there is multiplayer, so you and your friends can die together!

Not fun or engaging for me, I don't like the block graphics, and game play loop is pretty boring. Also not happy with the privacy and data collection issues.
spent 5 hours on a single run trying to beat the game with a buddy, we were sweating bullets (and reigning hellfire on the waves of enemies) loosing teammate after teammate holding our lines and just barely made it out... this was on very easy mode. Wholeheartedly would recommend this game, great art, music is on point, and if you're like me and you just like stress management kind of games this is it boss.
No save scumming in this game. Easy mode is hard. I don't know what hard mode is going to be like. But I want to at least beat easy mode, that's for sure. The game is frustratingly addictive. I see a lot of people complaining it's to hard and it is. But after playing it for a week I notice the reason why it gets hard is because people want to open all the doors on every floor. After a while when you get to the later floors the more doors you open and the less rooms you have lit the larger the swarm gets. If you find the exit after the 7 floor start packing up to leave early don't take the bait of opening all the doors. Also pray you get that device that stores dust from floor to floor early and start the game with an engineer that's upgraded to operator on the first floor. You'll thank me later.
