I really wanted to like this game, I really did - I love roguelikes, I love pixel games, I love Amplitude and the Endless universe... But there is just no balance here. The only difficulty that you even have a chance of beating is called "Too Easy" - firstly, don't insult the player before they've even started the game. Second, the achievements say it all. At time of review, barely 12% of players has beaten a single run, and around 5% had gone back for a higher difficulty. Now, I'm no stranger to difficult games, and the SoulsBorne games are some of the most popular of all time BECAUSE they're difficult, but there's one thing they and other roguleikes gave that Dungeon of the Endless just doesn't - Intrinsic progression. There is nothing between runs that could give you an edge, no point to add to base stats, no growth that is shared between runs, no prospect of getting any better than praying to RNGsus to bless you with a good roll on your dungeon. Of all things, this is the worst part of trying to play a roguelike with only extrinsic progression: you get better or you don't. And that kind of barrier takes the sheen and intrigue off an otherwise beautiful, thoughful, well designed and profound game like this. Not to mention, as above, when you just want to play and the game sneers at you for making it "Too Easy", it doesn't make you want to try again. I so desperately want to love this game, and I want even more for it to deserve the time I could probably put into it. But there's a difference between a challenge laid so those taking it on will grow from it, and one laid for the sake of being a challenge. And there's no hope of balance, this game is set in stone now. Unless you crave more futility than Dark Souls with less prospect to ever get out of the first few levels, steer clear. You'll be lost down there forever.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nice roguelike but suffers from random crashes. a run can span over multiple hours but there is no backup if the game crashes.
Fair Warnings First: - Have almost nothing to do with Endless Dungeon (Besides the obvious inspiration that the latter took from this game, along with some mechanics). Better not to compare! - Playing this game will make hours of your day disappear into magic. - This game is not supported by Amplitude anymore, so what you have, you have - which mostly means some minor bugs (The multiplayer bug being the biggest and most infamous of them all) - You might experience multiplayer runs disappear into thin air, you will curse right before starting a new run. That's how much fun this game is! Dungeon of the Endless is a mix of roguelike and many other genres, done so well that it becomes a unique experience. What some called "Dungeon-Defense" (not me.) You'll have: - Basic Roguelike features (Randomly generated mazes, Resource Management, Exploration, among others) - Character Management (Level, Skills, and Equips along with Movement and Positioning) - Tower Defense (Is this a Roguelike TD or a TD Roguelike?) - Turn-based Strategy mixed with Real-time Strategy (The crown jewel) - Base Building (Thanks to the power system, creating safe zones) It's a master piece that you choose how to enjoy. Bingeing on a 3-5 hour run one time with friends or just chilling half an hour per day alone. Any way you play works nicely, and it's awesome. Considering the price, it's an easy buy for me. There is much out there to enjoy in this game (Soundtrack, humor, lore, etc.) that I will not go into detail in this review, but it’s definitely an extra. Recommended!
Fun Dungeon crawler :) has an amazing soundtrack and really fits the Endless universe Vibe
10/10 game I've played this off an on for years. Mostly co-op but lots of time solo. Truly no idea why it suddenly has mixed reviews. It's novel, engaging, each playthrough offers something new. This game is worth the 12 dollars, easily.

Love roguelikes but this one is too random. No strategy seems to work even for easy mode. Read strategy guides, watched tutorials, tried lots of things. Exhausted by the glacial pace and incessant cheap shots.
This game keeps calling itself a roguelike to cover up how badly it’s made. The controls are clunky, everything feels random and out of focus in a bad way. It’s like they used "hard" as an excuse for lazy design.
