Fun gameplay, fun writing, fun characters. Would be super cool to see a game where you play as the Fire Wizard.
Absolutely a hidden gem, 7/10. If you have spare change and enjoy td games, buy it
Way better than I expected. It has issues with telegraphing what's going to happen, which is important for a TD, but it's casual enough that you can generally react in time.

I really like it. Especially the co-op. Now please make a sequel.
letzter Erfolg bischen tricky zu finden..... ist bei Greg und man muss den Tesla Tower daneben anklicken ansonsten gute TD mit toller Musik. 100% leider schon :)
Duke of Defense is a very fun game with nicely paired arcade action and tower defense mechanics. It has great pixel art and juicy visuals, funny dialogues and an absolute banger of a soundtrack. Both the single player and local co-op modes are a hoot, I can wholeheartedly recommend it to fans of either or both genres.
I've never played such a fun tower defense game. The gameplay and art is amazing, not to mention the incredible soundtrack. Even though the mechanics are simple, you still have to think about your tower placement as well as what you decide to upgrade, since that could be the difference between your castle getting overrun or not letting a single enemy near it.
Not a tower defense fan. This feels more interactive .. like i dont just plop something down .. hope that it kills enemies fast enough for me to buy another tower to kill what first tower didnt until the late game where its more a matter of triage of how much damage can i take overall before i fail the mission. I like the skill tree, anything to make me feel like my choices matter is a personal investment as a gamer and draws me in ...
Only has Remote Play. Such a stupid decision. If I play with my friend, I want both of us to get progress towards achievements. If you add in real online multiplayer I'll change my review to a thumbs up. Until then, nope.
Im no fan of tower defense, but this one i loved. once i started i couldnt put it away until i completed it. it got a nice co-op too, i tried it with my kid and it was a success :)
