This is a thumb down, unfortunately. The graphics is actually good (with many frame losses), I can't exclude devs used external assets as goblins seems 1:1 identical to ones in Nook Hidden Arrow (than is instead a very good game). Music also is good. Is the whole game than is very bad instead. Drifwatch VR is giving the most embarassing amount of achievements I've ever seen in any game, I've gained 22 achievements in 10 minutes. Just launch the game is an achievement, then start to play another one. Aiming is pretty bad, with the bow is super easy to move the bow in the wrong hand, the arrow has a very short range. Some minigames (it's organized in 4 subgames with unlimited waves of enemies) are so easy than you could play as long as you want, like the magic one, others are extremely hard and frustrating. My overall feeling is that developers doesn't intend to do a "real" videogame with Driftwatch, it's a sort of tech demo where most of the work in balancing and polishing is missing. There are very visible bugs, like colliders than sometime stay active where the character is yet defeated, and arrows stops against invisible walls. I can't suggest it, at any price, if it was an early access in the very first day I would consider this solvable, but the game is out from months and not early access anymore.
Just played part of the first level. Great graphics, good bow control, good realism in arrow flight. Like the movement system. This is a very good "Shooter on Rails". There is no noticable judder on the highest graphic setting, and I'm hardly cutting edge, with a i7 2600 running an Nvidia GTX 980. This is a fun game and worth playing!
Game is very dull.... Not replayable. Do not recommend.
I've spend 13 hours playing this game, and i really like it. It is a solid bow shooter with great graphics and accurate physics. With only minor bugs, and good replay value, this game ranks in my personal Top 5 VR games so far. (i've played about 26). In my opinion better than Raw Data and Holopoint. (Versions 20.12.2016)
This was one of those early VR games that I originally thought I kinda wanted and then decided against. I wound up getting it anyway in a bundle so here's my chance to review it. One of the common things about the first wave of VR games is that everyone had to have some bow and arrow stuff. It felt new when I played it in "The Lab" and then progressively got less and less new as everyone else did their take on it. Some did it better than others. If the bow behaved better I'd like this game better. Unfortunately it feels weak. I've used Nerf Bow and arrows with more shot power. BUT it's not all about the bow. Unlike some other games, they added a crossbow (which is like a really slow pistol where your shots still arc due to gravity). Later you get to ride a flying platform and use a staff to fire bolts of energy and then after that you can shoot fireballs from your hands (but the fireballs still arc). It has improved a lot but ultimately I feel it still falls short. Things I liked

There is some variety in the stuff you do in this game
There is a target practice mode.
Things that I disliked

The enemies look a lot like enemies used in a ton of other games (unity assets?)
The Bow is pretty damn weak, and good luck hitting anything with it when the platform you're on is moving
When you get damaged it looks like someone spread ketchup over a piece of glass held 2" in front of your eyes
The third level is buggy. I could continue that level indefinitely because the flying platform enemies stop spawning and the dragon riding enemies barely ever attack. It took effort to die so I could get a score.
It takes until the 3rd level before you see any real new enemies.
The Fireball throwing stage felt awkward in how you aimed it. See "Waltz of the Wizard" for how throwing a fireball should feel.
Mostly though the first level seems to drag, it's hard to aim when your shots curve to one side because the platform you're on is moving, and that third level is so buggy that it ruins the whole experience. It would be better if that third level wasn't even there (until it's fixed). Anyway, I wouldn't have bought this now if not for the bundle. If you have other archery games you can safely skip this one. If you have other games where you can throw fireballs and feel like a wizard, you can safely skip this one. If you can get this one cheap and you don't have anything better, it's decent enough for a few hours worth of play but I doubt I'll spend more time on it unless it gets a major update.
Shove a mage staff RIGHT UP YOUR BUTT
Terrible framerates with a 1060 grx card and no grx options in the menu to assist. Strange, as almost every vive game works great with this card. I cannot recomend for anyone with that spec. Refunded.
Pretty fun bow game but it has it's issues. Some of the mobs feel too far away and have you shooting at them for way too long before you finally hit them. The first level seemed very long and I didn't even finish it. Still I can see this game growing into something great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mj2viUITw0A
I think this is one of the worst shooters in vr. Graphics are ok but gameplay is incredibly boring
