Eh, I dunno, I like TCG, but this one didn't seem to be intuitive like others. I mean it seems based on the same standards but even with the tutorial, it didn't make sense to me. 26 minutes in I still wasn't sure how to play and honestly, while I love Dresden Files, I'd prefer some kind of RPG over a silly TCG. Sorry, Mr. Butcher, I will wait for some better video game, not based on TCG to invest my time. I wanted to love it, but I don't even like it. In contrast, I played Magic The Gathering and within 20 minutes understood exactly how to play, not so much with this game. I give it 1 star and that's because it's Dresden Files.
Mécanisme très intéressant et original. Bonne immersion.

This game is BRUTAL! When you get a win, it's very much celebration worthy. It takes a bit to understand you have to make EVERY TURN COUNT. There should be a reason for every action. Make sure each player is helping the team overall and GOOD LUCK!
It is a perfect representation of the physical game.
With a simple yet evocative mechanic the game recreates the main events of the series. I found it challenging (but difficulty is scalable) and enjoyable. Kudos!
Love the books. Game could be fun if it was a bit easier.
Not really worth the price tag, which is more condemnation of the physical board game than the developers of this game. $17 is a lot for something that feels about as fun as a free mobile game. Perhaps if some extra effects or descriptions were added to the video game then it would feel better. As it is, the game is shockingly simple and dependent on RNG. On Easy difficulty and when you are playing cards before planning everything out will leave you kind of frustrated and constantly losing. It's really a game where you look at your opening hands & enemy board and can immediately determine if you're going to win. I don't regret my purchase, as I'm a huge Dresden fan, but the game isn't worth $17; maybe $9.
I have to say, I didn't like the game at first as I never could win a single game. However, one day I decided to really give it a go and now I enjoy it. It may take a few dozen games to get the hang of it but once you have it you are golden. If you love the Dresden Files you will enjoy this game.
I have never played the meatspace actual card game, but this digital version is really solid. It plays really well, by and large. There is a learning curve. Both for the game itself and the way you play it digitally. The game is hard as hell and not at all easy to win even on the easiest difficulty. The main problem is that in my experience, getting a game together online is... frustratingly difficult. Not sure if it's netcode or something but even when a friend and I tried to play together, it took quite a while before we were able to connect to one another. But beyond that, it's a fun game and worth checking out.
