Am I missing something or is this like the least fun card game anyone has ever made? EDIT: I keep playing it for some reason though. I don't know what's going on here. EDIT 2: Nevermind, this game is good. It just takes a little bit to get. I still kinda hate the Showdown mechanic and needing to rely on randomness to win but I've been having a good time now.
If you like the board game, then the digital version is an absolute must - I've owned the physical version since it was released, but have played the game more since owning it on Steam than ever before. The convenience, and ability to play with friends [who also own it] from afar, is unmatched, and having it all automated means we never forget an ability or rule. We've noticed one singular bug since playing, but it's otherwise a really fantastic adaptation of the game to Steam, and I would highly recommend it.

Faithful implementation of the board game, that unfortunately has you play solo while not being able to see all of the cards in all of the hands, which comes at a significant detriment to planning your turns. It's a bit of a pity because the game itself is a fine and interesting puzzle, that absolutely requires optimization to succeed. I got this on the cheap (7 euros) which is close to what I'd want to have paid (5 euros would have been fair from my perspective). I suppose you can see more in the game's theme if you have read and loved the books.
works really well, all the functions do what they are meant too. I do wish there was an easy mode though...
feel the board game on your pc... totally recomendable
Fun and difficult
This game is challenging at times, but there are options to make the game easier if you don't want to lose too often. Definitely some luck involved, but a sound strategy (and playing on easier difficulties) can give you a good chance of winning. Games move at a fairly quick pace, as well. Lots of fun. For fans of the book series, the different decks for each hero make them play differently, and I feel like they did a good job capturing each character. Also, I've played this game offline, a lot, so I have way more hours than Steam credits me for. Just to be clear.
Solid implementation, great tutorial. Good art. I wish some of the music was a little less intense. It's a good one!
Great game!
