Maybe in another life I too was a fisherman in a Lovecraftian sea. But right now this will have to do. Good game.
If someone told me that a fishing simulator with goofy cartoon graphics would make for a good Lovecraftian horror game, I would have probably believed them because it's a very specific description of a game that would usually never work well, but with the power of indie and passion towards game-making, this game does work. Gameplay - good progression through ever-expanding upgrades for the ship and increasingly wide selection of fish you can catch. Graphics - does what it needs to via an artsy, hand drawn graphics Story - probably the weakest point, as you are essentially doing one big fetch quest without much explanation as to why World - just, *chef's kiss*, amazing, well put-together world that makes sense, but also doesn't make sense in a very good way, as all Lovecraftian worlds should Atmosphere - probably the best part of the game. This game really takes the trope of "fisherman stories" and build around it, making you fear going into deep ocean waters, be wary of random flickering lights in the night that end up meaning nothing and in general, doing a good job of presenting both a creepy and a wacky setting All in all, one of all time favorites, highly recommend!
This is a good gam
I love this game
Petit jeu bien sympathique !
This game is fantastic not only is it optimized to hell and back it's also just fun with a good enough mystery and fun enough fishing mechanics. Sure it could stand to improve the entire terror mechanic but even then its not half bad just not very scary, more like spooky. Also definately get the complete edition with all the DLC
muito bom o jogo
Wonderfully relaxing game with spooky sprinkles, but not so much it takes away from the chill vibe. Cannot recommend enough. Developers should be proud of making a game so perfect.
