Dreamfall: The Longest Journey

Este juego tiene más virtudes y menos defectos que su predecesor. El personaje principal, Zoe Castillo, es más agradable que April Ryan; el clima de misterio es igual o superior, y no está ni de lejos tan recargado de discursos innecesarios, y los que hay tienen mayor "sustancia". Los personajes y escenarios están mucho mejor definidos físicamente y también les favorece el distinto método de jugabilidad. Por otro lado es muy fácil de jugar, se avanza con facilidad y no hay tanta complicación de inventario ni de combinación de objetos. Como aspectos negativos hay que apuntar que el personaje de April está totalmente falseado y es irreconocible física y psíquicamente. Otros dos elementos desfavorables son los combates, los cuales, buenos o malos, están fuera de lugar en este tipo de juegos. También sería prescindible el pasaje de los "grubbers", que, aparte de ser el más complicado, no sirve más que para asustar e irritar al jugador, cogiéndole desprevenido en unos seudo combates que habrá de perder sí o sí.

No entiendo demasiado el hate con este juego. Me ha parecido bastante superior a The Longest Journey, y no es poco decir. Mecánicamente es un juego muy sencillo, pero dentro de su sencillez y su limitación, sabe ser variado y tiene momentos muy interesantes. La narrativa del juego está a una altura a la que estaban muy poquitos juegos de la época, el bueno de Ragnar Tørnquist estaba de dulce en cuanto a la escritura. El mundo creado en la anterior entrega sirve como pretexto para desarrollar todo lo que aquí ocurre. Lo artístico de este juego me parece una barbaridad. Presenta muchos escenarios, muchos de ellos muy diferentes y todos son increíblemente imaginativos. En resumen: entrad aquí con todo si os gusta The Longest Journey.

A bit clunky controls and mechanics. Don't expect difficult puzzles or problems. I only got stuck at one musical puzzle, where I never found the hint. It seems that I missed the brief window where you were supposed to hear the melody. Otherwise it was quite easy. The story is charming, but unfortuneately not as exciting or complete as the first game. The end of the game had a lot of loose ends, obviously pointing toward a sequel.

Suite trés interessante, le jeu est plus jolie mais comme on est passé a un environnement en 3D on se sent moins libre du fait qu'on s'aperçoit que le jeu est plus lineaire alors qu'avant on avais un endroit dezoomé avec pas mal de decor. Par contre c'est plus du tout un point and click.

I couldn't even get to the title screen on this game while on windows. I switched to linux and it ran just fine with proton GE :D I played this game a very long time ago on the original Xbox, I have to say the story is extremely interesting and this game is ahead of it's time. If you don't care about graphics that much with these older games or how tedious they can be, well then its a 8/10 in my book!

Хорошее продолжение оригинальной The Longest Journey, которое хоть и по общему впечатлению послабее неё, но всё равно является классной игрой. В игре хорошая история, которая к сожалению не сильно завершена и много ответов не дано. Видно что игра делалась с расчётом на продолжение в отличие от первой части, которая сама по себе является цельной и вполне законченной игрой. В игре всё такой же крутой мир, персонажи, среди которых много персонажей из первой части, хорошая графика и крутой визуальный стиль. Диалоги хоть и послабее, но так же хороши. История начинается не сильно увлекательно, но потом раскрывается. В отличии от первой части, которая была в большей мерей фэнтези в ней автор ушёл больше в сторону фантастики. Сюжет в большей мере завязан на мире Старка. Для понимания игры настоятельно рекомендую сначала пройти The Longest Journey, иначе очень многое будет непонятно. Так как я проходил их подряд у меня вызывали дикий восторг возвращение в старые локации и встречи со старыми персонажами. В игре офигенная музыка и хорошая русская озвучка. Надеюсь следующая часть, которую я начну проходить после этой не разочарует меня. Настоятельно рекомендую серию к прохождению. Она офигенная
