verified on deck my ass. control is stupid asf and touchy. Its just crap mouse stick controls. Not recommending if your on deck
Cons 1. The mini games got repetitive fast. And the amount of time given each day felt waaay too short. I just wanted to explore more of the patients' backstories, but the minigames weren't my type, kept getting in the way. Great story, not so great gameplay. Id rather watch someone else's playthrough. But I bought it on sale so I dont really complain 2. The font made long passages hard to read Most of the gameplay was fine, but reading the manuals or the documents? whaever was a bit difficult Pros 1. Unique design. I loved all of the artwork(UI, character, etc) + sound(bgm, the machine noises, everything) 2. Carefully crafted storyline. I never expected to see so many psychology concepts in a game, and it was really exciting. It's even more enjoyable if you have some background in psychology. (minor spoiler)
Different symptoms of psychosis including delusions, depression are portrayed through the story.
3. The game clearly shows the consequences of my decisions. worth trying tho

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

TLDR: If you like papers please give this a try. Games pretty short though and have to do multiple playthroughs if you want all the endings. If you're a fan of something like papers please but want you be want to be a psychiatrist instead of a border guard this is the game for you. It can be a little confusing when you first start because it just throws you in there. There are instructions for all the tools you use though and for the most part it's forgiving for messing up a time or two when you're first starting. They're 9 endings and the game is pretty short per playthrough. (2-3 Hours) I also picked this game up on it's anniversary sale as well for a 1$ so that's a win.

A uniquely dystopian mind scanning experience! I enjoyed Mind Scanners, once I got used to the interface. The aesthetics and audio are a big part of the appeal, plus the excellent atmosphere. I can see the gameplay getting a bit repetitive on subsequent playthroughs, but on a single run I had a good time. Overall, a stylish, atmospheric game with a genuinely interesting concept and some fun minigames. Definitely worth a scan.
Story is very good and it got me genuinely interested but man are those minigames just a total slog. I seriously can't bear them anymore, whole game went the other way for me and I won't finish it because of it. It just gets incredibly tedious. Game rewards you with even more minigames if you do well, I had to solve nearly 30 of these to treat a patient once and then it gave me another 20 next time around, there's no way to change difficulty without restarting whole save file for some reason. (mild spoiler)
On top of that you also have to keep in mind their personality by off-loading meds into them, or using one of the later machines to regain it or stabilize it, to prevent them from becoming a husk of their former self.
If at the very least you could do these at your own pace with forced treatment limit per day then hell yeah brother, I would be so behind this but it's on a timer, minigames are clumsy and one mistake sets you back. It feels incredibly punishing to say the least. I played around 1-2h of this, rest are idled for them worthless steam trading cards. I wouldn't really recommend it unless you're die hard fan of doing the same minigames over and over again but I can recommend it if you want a really good story and don't mind suffering through the core gameplay loop.
Timers make me very anxious so I really hate it when games use timers. That's a me problem though.
You get to scan neurodivergent individuals minds and then lobotomised them if you feel like making them a characterless potato. Great times had by all 👍
cool idea but the game is a little too mundane for me.
