Experienced on the HP Reverb G2 using the Oasis Driver for Windows Mixed Reality
You can watch my gameplay here: https://youtu.be/cTHHKdMZCGk One of the worst VR games that I have played in 2025. Do you miss the days of VR when there were no motion controllers (you may be able to use motion controller as a gamepad using Meta Quest, but motion controllers did not work on HP Reverb G2)? Do you wish free to play mobile phone quality games were made into VR experiences? Do you like repetitive music? Do you enjoy gameplay where you can barely see in front of your ship? Do you have your Xbox One gamepad handy? Then this may be the game for you. It definitely is not for me. The only nice thing I can say is that it's running on the Unreal Engine. It's not the worst looking game either, it's bright and colorful. I was getting 45 fps (90 fps reprojected) with dropped frames on my RTX 5090. Obviously, the game is poorly optimized. Rate 3/10. Should I refund this game?
I bought this game! This is definitely the most graphically stunning VR game I've seen so far. It's fun to play, and you can really get into the atmosphere. Pros: - Beautiful graphics and cool effects - Immersive gameplay - Catchy music - No motion sickness - Great fun shooting other units - RPG elements and the ability to have your own dragon are also great. Cons: - Simplified controls, using VR sticks instead of your hands You generally sit quite deep inside the ship, which adds to the immersion, but the view of what's right in front of the ship is a bit difficult.
A simple but very addictive game. I'm playing MetaQuest 2 with goggles. The image is incredibly clear, much better than other VR games, perhaps thanks to the vibrant colors. I like it. For me, it's also much more interesting than other naval VR games. Each mission is a completely different task; it's not enough to just shoot everything. You can also develop your character, acquire artifacts, and so on. The only drawback is that sometimes you can't see everything because there's so much going on in the game: something is flying here, something is swimming there, and sometimes you're being shot at from both sides.
Stuck on the back of the ship which occludes your vision. Objective goals aren't clear. Movement feels awkward. Controls are not intuitive. This should be a demo, not a $20 product.
