Pretty good little pixel adventure game; the graphics and animations look nice and the story was good with decent writing. Although there was a couple moments of 4th wall breaking dialogue, which is a trend I don't get with these sorts of games. Also a bit odd that there's no options for text speed or turning off that terrible animation how the text lays out. Gameplay was fine but you can't progress after a certain point with a 60% keyboard, one of the minigames required using WASD + Arrow keys at the same time, one of which I don't have. There isn't options for keybinds either, as this problem would've been easily avoided with the classic IJKL instead of Arrow keys binds. Luckily though I had a PS4 controller which worked even though quick time event isn't great place to translate xbox buttons to playstation in your head. Also when playing with a gamepad it got pretty annoying that there's no input cutout when transiting between screens, as in when walking to the edge of the screen and transitioning to the map, Brittany just kept going and walked to the next location on the map. That combined with the game being pretty confusing where to go next got pretty annoying, especially on the island. I'd say with the current sale price the game's worth it, even if it is a bit short. I would rate it 3.6/5, even if there was some techincal annoyances that stacked up.
