A fun classic adventure
I've really enjoyed my time with this game. It's fun to play in little bursts which is all I really have time for. I just hope they keep making remakes so that the DQ games are readily available on modern systems. DQ VII is coming soon! Bring on all of them!
A Dica Mais Importante: Não Corra! Dificuldade Recomendada: A dificuldade normal é onde a magia acontece. As Sementes (Seeds): Não guarde sementes!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Mal vieilli...
Good game
It's a good remake. I'm looking forward to future remakes in this series.
I frankly didn't like it much. I think the crown jewel of these remasters seem to be Dragon Quest 2. The class system feels like you're missing out if you don't minmax or plan ahead your class/personality path for your characters. It feels restrictive rather than freeing. You need guides to map out when each class learns which ability and when to class change. The game falls apart in the midgame once you get the boat. It opens up so much that the game turns into a collect-a-thon. And I mean like 6 hours of just roaming around getting monsters if you want to use Wild Side on your characters, not counting small medals and secret spots and sparkling spots on the map which I all gave up on eventually. You need to CONSTANTLY use nose for treasure, snoop, animal instinct in every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ screen in the game otherwise. I think if you yolo it and play without a guide, you might have a much better experience. The mini medal rewards suck and monster wrangler was nerfed, so just play without worrying about missing something. The game isnt hard enough to require minmaxing except the postgame. The story is rather weak but the added cutscenes for Ortega are great, and the final few hours after Baramos are also cohesive and interesting. It peaks there. Strangely Dragon Quest 1 remake despite having worse difficulty balance has a more personal, somber story where you truly feel Erdrick's pain. Oddly you don't experience any of it in actual DQ3, neither do you even see his friendship with Galen the bard that is talked about at lenght in DQ1. Weird remake with weird systems, but if you avoid those, it's an ok JRPG I guess.
How Dragon Quest 3 should be enjoyed from now on
