DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake

They turned the Prince of Cannock from a walking coffin into the best, most entertaining party member in any DQ game. He's also actually good now; his sister has replaced him as the walking coffin. You fought well, scions of Erdrick. Relish your homecoming. You, the newest to be titled within your line, may embrace your loved ones to your heart's content. Relish it. For your predecessor, the progenitor of the line... Do so in his stead... Rest well, great hero of Aliahan. May victory smile upon you. Look at what those who came after you accomplished, and smile. I can only hope that you were able to find some solace in the afterlife. To you, and those you love.

3と本作の1のみクリアしました。 3と同じく敵が複数体出るし複数回行動する敵も出ます。問題はこちらはパーティー1人です。1回行動するとボコられ終わるまで待つ必要もあるのでかなり面倒でした。もちろんラリホーで眠らされたら何もできません。そのうえ雑魚敵でも結構強いです。 また、レベルアップ時のパラメータが身の守りだけほぼ上がりません。攻撃や賢さは100超えても身の守りだけ50そこらでした。そのため高レベルになっても装備更新しないと被ダメージは結構高いです。油断してるとすぐ死にます。 開発からの”簡単にクリアされたら悔しいじゃないですか!"という熱い思いが伝わりました。

我的评价是夯，目前一代玩完了，正在玩二代，虽然很多人都说需要刷级，但其实只要爱乱逛，等级很快就上去了（比如像我一样地图的每个角落都要摸一遍）。一代里我唯一特意去刷等级的时候就是打龙王前，在王座前面用气味贷刷了半小时。在这之后打败了龙王的成就感简直无敌了。 一代这种王道剧情过多久都还是好看，后期一直抱着公主到处打怪也很温馨，好评！ 二代体量很明显大了许多（我觉得二代难度高于一代，可能是因为三个人我都是自己控制的，用ai我总感觉不靠谱），主角塑造也很立体，对我这种jrpg爱好者来说真的堪称顶级。 现在每天下班就指着打DQ2 HD 2D过活了，看着像素小人在各个场景间移动，让我好像又回到了初中的那个暑假

我以前没玩过勇者斗恶龙系列，最近刚刚入坑，试了一下感觉故事挺不错，可以推荐

Growing up, the Dragon Warrior games on the NES were the first RPG games that really grabbed my attention, and quickly became favorites of mine. I remember sitting there walking back and forth in specific areas to grind for gold and XP so I could safely navigate the next area. I've got fond memories of the games story, sounds, and 8-bit charms. Fast forward to 2026 and I finally decided to give DQ 1&2 and try, and I must say, I'm glad I did. As of writing this review, I'm 7 hours into DQ1, and it's evident this remake was infused with a lot of care and pays homage to the source material. I can see and hear so many aspects of the original that it sooths the nostalgic beast within, but also offers enough new content and improvements to make it feel fresh and new, just like the originals did back in 1989. All in all, this ranks up there with one of the best purchase decisions I've made here on Steam in a long time. At 7 hours, with many more to go, I already feel like I've got my money's worth out of it. It's a great RPG in it's own right, but if you were ever a fan of the original games, you've got to play these! This old man could not be happier with his purchase!

Dragon Warrior for the NES was my first every RPG. I had the Nintendo Power world map with all the hints and item locations. When I started playing this remake I was immediately in a state of "This is not the same game!" but really... it is. All the key beats of the original are still there including the items you have to acquire and the quests you would have done but some added flavor was given. The SNES remakes might have been considered the true upgrade to the original classic but the developers said "Hold my beer". The controls are smooth and fluid. The grind of the original has been mellowed in the early game and it feels so much easier at first but you will have to start grinding a few hours in or you are toast. My only complaint is that while added story elements to flesh things out are kind of welcomed, they maybe added a bit too much world building and the cutscenes can get a little overboard. You will notice immediately that many monsters, items, spells and functions from later DQ games have been added to the original game (because it was very bare bones) and give it not only expanded content but it really helps you feel like this is the same world that the original trilogy takes place in.
