Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Best building game ever., I wish they have a 3rd one. The story is fun and easy to follow. The ends of the story give you access to all the tool and items to build on an island whatever you want. I bought this game on the switch and now on steam
I have (pragmatically, see below) 100%ed this game: completed every recipe I had access to, collected each item, built some pieces I liked, completed the story, encountered every monster, recruited many of them, discovered every blueprint, and bred to the rarest color pattern of animal, and I generally recommend this with some caveats: [0] You have to tolerate the path Dragon Quest took lately with speech quirks abound... imps talk with "th" for every letter s, slimes make some sort of goo related pun for any word they can, skeletons make bone puns all the time, etc. Sometimes it makes the dialog hard to read. [0] The boss fights aren't tedious, though they may be easy for some. (I personally enjoy this) But: [-] There are times it seems there is supposed to be audio, yet none plays, so there are weird silence gaps. [-] There are times where a disembodied voice "talks" and it pauses gameplay for way longer than it takes to read the dialog -- when it does this, you cannot force the text forward by any means. [-] If you have this on a HDD instead of a SSD, sometimes the load times are really slow. [-] There is a limited roster of monsters overall, and you can't befriend every species like something akin to Dragon Warrior Monsters. [-] Some of the building situations are janky or awkward, and you have to fiddle with them to get them to position well. [-] It is really useful to have a Golem on your team, but they are CONSTANTLY in the way when you are trying to build or during a few other precision-based situations. [-] There is an annoyingly hard limit on working chest quantities and number of residents. [-] For 100%ing the recipes, you have to pick up some items that, once the time passes, you cannot go back for. Also, some items are only available in certain versions (this one doesn't have PS5 or Switch exclusives, which, for a building game, I find dumb.) HOWEVER: [+] There is a decent variety of stuff to build. [+] You CAN recruit some monsters, at least. [+] The story is fine for what the game is, since building is the focus, it doesn't take itself too seriously. However, it isn't 100% predictable (it is still not award-winning, but it does have a couple surprises). [+] Toriyama's art style is always charming. [+] The variety of "functional" structures and the fact you can get help in building is pretty nice. [+++] Most of all: It is pretty fun. I got 110+ hours of gameplay out of it before even finishing the story, and 100%ed the game within 200 hours. VERDICT: For a SquareEnix game, especially, it was very enjoyable. Definitely worth playing if it is on sale, and if you like something like Minecraft. However, I will say for $50USD, that is more up to your discretion.

The best open world survival craft game (crazy genre name) I've ever played solely due to getting to basically roleplay as Tom Nook and hot-damnnn do I play a good dictator
