The game in its current state is a well done proof of concept that if improved in the future, can be turned into something far better than the NASCAR games we have received in the past 5-6 years.
The large amount of sliders you can mess with can create an incredibly varied experience from one run to another. However, I have pretty much come across a way to "cheese" the game if you will, that will lead to a front-of-the-pack finish virtually every time. You press the left arrow (or right) repeatedly into drivers in the row in front of you to open up a gap for you to progress through the field, getting the draft from the row in front of the one you just entered. Once you get to the front, you can essentially do the same thing to cars with runs beside you (which you can gauge using the overhead camera) and put them in the wall/throw blocks to the grass to get them to fall due to no longer having a pusher.
I realize that this game is made by a single developer and I thank him for his efforts, as this probably was no easy task to make. However, with some improvements (i.e. physics overhaul, steam workshop support for new venues & paint packs, multiplayer support, other gamemodes), this game can go from good to a must-have in a motorsports fan's library.
