Dracula: Origin

Not a bad point-and-click game. Some nice moody 2D backgrounds and music. The big bad and other vampires don't get much screen time, sadly. As far as Dracula adaptation - not the best one, but not the worst one either.

great classic point and click adventure game. the controls are easy and the puzzles and play are very good. I would 100 percent reccomend.

I started the review by saying I highly recommend this game. I remember playing and beating this game for the first time a few years ago, it was memorable. Based on Bram Stoker's novel Dracula, it has a cool setting, puzzles, and a captivating soundtrack.

Wenn auch die Rätsel im Spiel immer knackiger werden und man hier ohne Komplettlösung im Netz in der Regel nicht auskommt, was die Spielfreude schon etwas dämpft, so ist das Spiel dennoch empfehlenswert. Ich würde es sogar auf ähnlichen guten wie düsteren Mystery- Spielen wie zum Beispiel die "Black Mirror" ansiedeln. Für Point & Klick - Fans mit Hang zum Mystischen ein Pflichtkauf.

It's FINE but the last quarter really devolves into a pixel hunt, there's a lot of puzzles that aren't clear how to solve (some of which would've been way simpler if they gave you a better item that represented the task required) It's decent, but slow paced. the puzzles are mostly good, the voice acting and story are OK, if i could give it a 'sure, on sale, or if you REALLY WANT A point-and-click' that's it. definitely not frogware's best work

I'd probably only pick this up on sale or in a bundle, but it was pretty good. Nothing super original or groundbreaking, but if you like Dracula and point and click adventures, then this is a solid game.

The game itself is very good, with a classic, unwavering plot and consistent characters, but perhaps a little too clichéd. I'd say the puzzles aren't particularly difficult, except for the final level, where they're perhaps starting to lose some logic. The ending is terrible, clearly designed to pave the way for a sequel that never happened, and I found it very rushed and poorly crafted. Overall, it leaves a positive experience.

If you are a Dracula fan, this game is worth a try. The atmosphere, the story and the characters remind me of the novel by Bram Stoker. Some riddles are a bit hard, but overall I recommend this game, especially when on sale.
