Virtual reality developer need to add more to games. This is a demo you pay for. I didn't refund it because I had fun in zero gravity and I might show my friend but even then grabbing off things and launching yourself didn't work as well as I wanted it to. I wanted to send my self flying but I couldn't. It makes me lol. Even at 75 cent it still was to much. Which makes me wonder about the full game.
A fun short demonstration of movement and interaction in a micro-g environment. I would not have picked it up for the full price, but it's definitely worth checking out now that it's 90% off. I was surprised how much I could float around without triggering some form of simulation sickness. Exceptions to that being cases where the game brings you too close to the floor (your character is horizontal, even if you're standing, in some cases it might be better to play crouched down). I occasionally also feel disoriented when I walk around while I'm floating, so I recommend stopping your flight before moving your head a lot (In future versions of the game, they should probably detect head movement beyond a threshold, and stop your floating movement at that point). The game uses a fancy Inverse Kinematics rig to give you a body in the game world, which is pretty neat when you play with a friend. Combined with the effect applied to your friend's voice when they talk to you over the in-game radio, it results quite an immersive experience. Those Inverse Kinematics also get in the way a bit unfortunately. Objects you hold are not tracked directly to your controller (I would prefer this in future versions). The in-game hands try to follow your controller as closely as possible, and due to some issues with the shoulder placement in the current version, that be off by quite a bit, so you can't rely on muscle memory or slight adjustments in your grip while shooting.
🔥For a good time, not a long time...
Well worth it❕ But don't buy it for a long time, buy it for a good time. It's a short 20 minute game but ABSOLUTELY worth the couple bucks. It made my SHORT LIST of "wow" experiences for VR noobs who come to visit me and want to see something cool. It has a MULTIPLAYER mode too. Pretty epic teaser for the full game, played it three times at least, if not more 🤣 First alone, then with other people. Some epic scenery in this short experience, had me buy the full game no hesitation and I enjoyed that too.
pretty awesome but also the shortest game I've ever played that charged money
Experienced on Oculus Rift Very short, but not surprising since it's a prologue. It does make me intrigued for the main game, but there's a lot of room for improvement. Pros: - Very immersive - Great graphics - Floating around in zero gravity is really neat Cons: - Lacked any sort of story or anything to explore. It would have been much better if you could find logs/etc to give you clues as to what happened or why you're here. - Aim felt a bit off, the guns were always dragging a bit to the left - Being able to rotate by grabbing things rather than only by pressing buttons would be an improvement Verdict: 6/10
This game works beautifully! Not only the environment, but the very subtle sounds and immersion they were able to accomplish. Things like hearing a faint rubber or scratching sound when you bend your arms while in the spacesuit. It really feels like you are living in a sci fi mystery.
Good COOP play for two doll hairs, about 30mins of gameplay.
хороший пролог к игре, в невесомости на станции, неплохая механика инструментов, хорошая графика
