Good, fun and a bit of exercise. Controls are a bit iffy at times but it's negligible.
Fun game! Something different for VR! Plays well!
worth it
Really enjoy this unique game ... the music, sound effects and graphics make for a really immersive experience. Definitely get this.
its a pity the devs have finished with this game as its got so much promise to it. The water effects are great and you really feel like you are floating down a river. A few maps have basic landscape graphics but you can forgive them as you try to get throu a rapid and end up backwards. The physic feel right. those sooking about two paddles..... do what i did, tape some pvc pipe between your controllers and physically join them. works brilliantly for me. the only letdown is no multiplayer and lack of maps (there is 3 areas each with 4 rivers. after doing thm all you crave for more). having a mate join you would be so good.
Nailed it. They really nailed it. It has the weighted proper feel of going... well... downstream. Okay, I admit, I've never actually done it. But the rows handle with the weight and precision I would expect. The kayak is as unwieldly as I imagine it would be. The way the water currents work is rather impressive, though they don't necessarily look it, they definitely feel it! The "ghost" kayakers you play against crack me up, kinda silly, but an interesting goal to work towards... Although there's really no need for any of that, just sitting in the thing going down a river is AMAZING. This is definitely a unique VR experience that I highly recommend. Downsides: The load times SUCK. It's not very detailed, texture-wise, and I use lower settings, and I have all SSD. And the load times... just... ouch! But it is well worth the wait.
Extremely well done. I haven't played much, but it's very realistic, and fun.
Positive: - Graphics - Pphysics - Challenge - Haptic feedback - Does a bit for fitness Neutral: - Not a fan of most of the power ups but good thing is you can ignore them. - I can imagine it's ntense or too intense for some people but for me it works well. Negative: - Very long loading times - Highscore is missleading because power-ups are random
lots of fun. takes a minute to get just the right height set in properly and to seat yourself properly, and controls are quite different and take a little bit to get used to, but once you get the handle of it, its extremely fun. between grappling hooks, kite sails, you can really enjoy fast paced white water rafting.
