Still a good game, but my least favorite doom game by far. Battlemode was a huge mistake, should have stuck with the 2016 multiplayer and expanded on snapmap. Completely mixed up what I expected from a DOOM game, now it's a weird combat cycle that has you spamming the same buttons and constantly cycling weapons/abilities in a repetitive gameplay loop. Constantly moving through the air, the marauders, constant super mario platforming, Really toned down soundtrack and made the game super bright/ a lot of stuff colorful. My biggest complaints from it. Plus the big bad of the DLC, the fight and ending was a very big letdown, had high expectations. The expansions in the lore and glory kills are top notch, Icon of sin boss is amazing, some great looking levels. Also the ability to switch skins and have them appear in cutscenes.
