Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

That's exactly the DLC I wanted after completing the main game on Nightmare difficulty. The gameplay is tough, and the bosses are fun. I love it.
The final boss is so dann hard I mean it wouldm't be a issue if he didn't take so long to him to shoot him when he has green eyes it's a bit frustrating

So, I saw someone reference The Ancient Gods 1 as the 90s' "Plutonia Experiment" of modern Doom, and I found that to be rather accurate at least due to its difficulty. The Ancient Gods is a DLC addition to Doom Eternal, comprised of two parts. This DLC is the harder, "if you want a more serious challenge" mode of Eternal (which in fairness is pretty challenging as it is for the average player). The count of demons is far higher, and it introduces new mechanics as well that play into the challenge, so here's what it generally has to offer. The DLC starts pretty much right into the action, although it starts light in preparation for what is to come. It doesn't take long however to get into tense and packed arenas which is where I think it really excels. You'll see the standard affair of demons, but it will throw considerably more high-tier enemies generously around the environment; cyber-mancubus, sometimes multiple marauders, sometimes waves of shield enemies which take away time breaking their shields down with the plasma rifle. And plenty of archviles to buff these already higher counts of demons. I would say that mechanics-wise, the Ancient Gods does not change things up incredibly, but it has a few key differences to make it harder. First of which is probably most noticeable is the possessed spirit enemies. This is a unique but f'ed addition in which a ghostly spirit spawns, inhabits a demon, and thus makes it the most powerful it can possibly be. Not just buffed, but fast, and immune to all effects until killed. When killed, the spirit will need to be killed or it will possess another (potentially higher tier) enemy. TAG1 also introduces a few new enemies, like the Blood Makyr (basically a regular makyr, but more powerful and with a charge up phase that leaves it vulnerable to a headshot). Ancient Gods had a benefit to me in that it really does take you from arena to arena without a lot of sidetrack or filler. I liked that about this DLC. In terms of story, it's nothing complicated unless you're one to really delve into the lore. After the events of Eternal, forces of Hell overrun the heavens and you must stop them. If you're after lore, you can read the page collectibles which rather than hiding it honestly just places in front of you most of the time. If there is an honest criticism I have for these DLCs (and modern Doom in general, really) it is that it lacks in exploration and secrets, something I felt to be a key part of the series before (TDA improved on this however and returned to form a bit) So overall, you're going to experience a lot of good arenas and some genuinely challenging fights which make take more than a few attempts. Slayer gates were top tier in this DLC, imo, though while they are optional you may feel like you have to finish them due to just how f'ed they can be in difficulty. Had cool bosses with unique movement required like the cube boss, and the final boss Samur Makyr took advantage of the new spirit enemy mechanics. It was tough, but I found it fun to time the kills in order to clear them and make it to the end of the fight. I'd say that environments, gameplay, etc wise, it was solid. It's what you'd expect from more Eternal, if that's your thing. Just be ready for more challenge than your average Eternal run. 7.5/10

id传统,dlc一定要放一些大粪内容来恶心玩家
this part of the ancient gods wasn't too bad. it was generally fun with a decent amount of difficult encounters (i played on max difficulty), however the thing that i hate is the new gimmicky enemy mechanics. "here's an enemy that can only be killed using the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MICROWAVE BEAM MOD." the blood maykrs are fun, they just rely on how accurate your shots are. overall it's not a bad purchase, more like a 7.5/10. as a warning, the second dlc also brings out more bs mechanics. i could still see myself recommending this dlc, but not the next one.
18码dlc,能想出幽灵这大粪玩意儿的可以原地自刎归天了
This DLC is totally worth getting if you REALLY wanna be pushed to play this game well. It's incredibly difficult, especially on the higher difficulties. The encounters and hordes of enemies are super tricky. I died many times during the second to last battle of the second stage. It's a really tricky one. The more compact, smaller arenas really force you to refine your movement and spatial awareness, your movement's gotta be locked in to not get railed. I never used ice bomb much in my base game playthrough, but here it felt essential. This DLC does exactly what I wanted from a Doom Eternal addon, and that's to push me even further in improving my game. Fabulous DLC.
