Відгук написано: 23.06.2026 Михайло Punkel Кенебас ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Thank you for your attention.

It's weird and uninteresting, as you click random objects put them on other objects to see if they work together, which they don't often enough. Bland story and bothersome UI makes this an easy skip.

Doodle Mafia is JoyBits Ltd.’s attempt to take the familiar “doodle-alchemy” formula and reimagine it within a crime-infested cityscape, replacing the traditional elemental combinations with the gritty, tongue-in-cheek world of gangsters, robberies, detectives, and back-alley deals. At its heart, the game remains a combination-puzzle experience built around experimenting with two elements to create a third, but the re-theming gives it a mischievous flavor. Instead of forming “Life” or “Storm,” you’re crafting “Heist,” “Counterfeit Money,” “Protection Racket,” “Detective Bureau,” or “Arrest Warrant.” That twist alone sets it apart from its predecessors, aligning it with noir-style cartoon aesthetics and a playful send-up of classic crime tropes. The result is a game that tries to blend humor, light strategy, and puzzle logic in a casual format that’s easy to jump into. You begin your journey with only a sparse handful of criminal and law-enforcement concepts — the barest foundations of a city on the brink of moral collapse — and from there expand your knowledge of the underworld by testing combinations. “Weapon + Person” becomes a thug; “Crime + Money” becomes bribery; “Investigator + Evidence” leads to breakthroughs. These discoveries form the underlying pleasure of the game: the satisfaction of watching your encyclopedic list of elements grow from something small and manageable into a sprawling crime-themed index filled with shady dealings and law-enforcement responses. Early on, progress feels natural and clever, especially when connections emerge that echo real-world associations. As the list grows, each new chain gives the sense of your criminal empire expanding bit by bit, even if the game remains firmly rooted in puzzle mechanics rather than full-blown management systems. To break away from pure combination-hunting, Doodle Mafia offers two structured modes: a narrative-driven campaign and a broader city mode. The campaign lets you choose between playing as a cunning mob boss hungry for power or a determined detective fighting to bring order back to the streets. These scenarios provide a loose storyline that ties your discoveries to progress through a series of challenges and objectives. Meanwhile, city mode attempts to give visual meaning to your choices — as you unlock new combinations and solve local problems, the city shifts between states of criminal dominance or restored law and order. This layer provides a sense of thematic consequence, even if its complexity is modest. It’s a gentle nudge toward giving players more purpose behind experimentation, making each discovered combination feel like a step forward in shaping the city’s fate. Despite these engaging touches, Doodle Mafia struggles to maintain long-term appeal. Its core loop remains repetitive by nature: combine elements, unlock new ones, and repeat. After the initial excitement fades, many combinations begin to feel like guesswork rather than logical deduction. Some outcomes are intuitive, but others stretch sense to the breaking point, resulting in long stretches of trial-and-error rather than genuine problem-solving. The sheer number of elements eventually becomes a double-edged sword — it provides breadth, but also leads to tedious scrolling, rechecking lists, and sifting through dozens of possibilities. Without stronger clues or a more robust logic system, players may find the puzzle-solving charming at first but tiring as they push deeper into the catalogue of possibilities. Presentation-wise, the game adopts the clean, bold-lined, doodle-like art style that JoyBits is known for. The visual feedback is straightforward, the menus are colorful, and the hand-drawn illustrations carry a certain cartoonish charm befitting the crime-comedy theme. However, the interface can feel more suited to touchscreens than PC play, with somewhat clunky navigation and a general sense that the game’s natural home is mobile devices rather than desktop environments. Sound design follows a similar trajectory: serviceable but understated, doing little to elevate the moment-to-moment experience beyond a casual background rhythm. In the end, Doodle Mafia works best when approached with modest expectations. It’s not a deep strategy game, nor a narrative-heavy crime saga, nor a complex puzzle title built on airtight logic. Instead, it offers light entertainment in a quirky, crime-themed wrapper, where the fun lies in discovering silly or surprising combinations and watching your element list fill out. For short sessions or casual play, the game can provide a pleasant distraction. But for players seeking sustained engagement, strategic depth, or a stronger sense of narrative progression, Doodle Mafia may feel too shallow and too repetitive to hold attention for long. Its charm lies in its simplicity, and for those who enjoy playful experimentation with a thematic twist, it delivers a short but enjoyable detour into a doodled city of crooks and cops. Rating: 6/10
