Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 9 → 0.43/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a horror-themed escape room game. The puzzles are neither bad nor particularly clever, but always fair and moderately entertaining. The sound design and modelling is fairly good, although somewhat limited and repetitive. There's a good quantity of puzzles. There is no ability to save your game except an autosave at the end of each chapter. Overall it's a middle-of-the road experience, but I don't regret the time or money I spent on it.

This game diverges from the first in that it got rid of the perpetual chase sequences, for the most part, leaving it as more of a horrific series of room escapes. This worked better for me, overall, and I enjoyed it a fair bit. There are still some issues though. 1) There are instances where you're hunting for items and they blend into the background without anything to point them out. A couple of items in the middle of the game are particularly hard to see. 2) Like the previous game, there are multiple endings. To get the best ending, you have to collect certain items. One of these items is in a room where you only have to do one thing to progress, with no indication that what you're doing will progress to the next sequence without you being able to find said item. To make things even worse, if you're doing a second playthrough and you decide to skip the dialogue, it skips the whole sequence, meaning you'll miss out on that item yet again. This is pretty horrible game design. Other than that, the psychological horror is well done and it has some fun puzzles. It's well worth a spooky season playthrough.
I liked it and i would say 70% of puzzles were easy to do but the rest were making me super frustrated. I gotta say tho the first game was better, it was way scarier than this and i'm sad they didn't add any chase sequences (because that last sequence i can't even call chase she was slow af). The entire flashlight battery thing was super useless since i had my flashlight out all the time and finished the game with like 2 spare batteries LOL.. In this game there was WAYY more lore than the previous one and it wasn't that interesting, sorry guys i really didnt gaf but...BONUS POINTS FOR 2137 I LOVE POLISH DEVS !!!!
I played Don't be afraid a few times after I first beat it so that I could get the alternate ending. I enjoyed the game. It has a different feeling from the first one. It wasn't so much a survival horror as it is a Scary escape room. It was cool. I really enjoyed some of the rooms and puzzles, they were imaginative. The ending was done in such a way that there could be a Don't be Afraid 3, and I hope there is. I did get some jump scares in there an without giving anything away there were a few times I was on the edge of my seat and there was one moment in game that was really cool. I want to talk about it, but its one of those things that is best experienced. My friend told me about it, and it took that magic away of first discovery... they suck! I won't do that for you.... Its worth a play. I give it a solid 7.5/8 out of 10 because I enjoyed the puzzles.
I went into Don’t Be Afraid 2 expecting a decent horror experience… and came out quite impressed. This game nails that uneasy, creeping tension that so many horror titles try to deliver. From the moment you start, it pulls you into its disturbing world and doesn’t let go. The atmosphere is easily the strongest part it's dark, oppressive, and constantly keeping you on edge. The sound design deserves a special mention too; every little noise feels intentional and adds to the paranoia. I caught myself hesitating before opening doors more times than I’d like to admit. What surprised me most was how much the game improved over the first one. The puzzles feel more refined, the story is more engaging, and the overall experience is smoother while still keeping that raw, unsettling vibe. Voice over is also amazing - shame actor that voiced Franklin didn't come back though. If you’re a fan of horror games that focus on puzzles this is absolutely worth your time. Be warned - puzzles are quite hard in this game but I liked that more escape room direction mixed with strong story. Highly recommended.
sometimes i think horror games focus on puzzles and not being scary way too much
