good game but completely abandoned by the devs before they could properly make a pvp lobby.
For a game that came out during a long mecha drought, I appreciate it for what it tried to do. The controls however are just undeniably bad, especially with the camera. If Indigo ever tries to come back to the series, I hope they invest a lot more time into figuring out much better movement and camera controls
Best 15 dollars I've spent. One of, if not the best, mecha action game out. A solid 9/10 from me. Pros: Tons of customization Tons of different build avenues Story Missions, Horde, Arcade Battles, Multiplayer and more Fun and addicting combat Cons: Dated graphics Sometimes AI doesn't respect the level bounds Conclusion: One of my favorite games because the mecha combat is so satisfying. The story missions give you a sense of universe and is the path to unlocking more cool weapons and skins. Tons of different endings. My dream is to see this game get a resurgence and take off. PVP could be a ton of fun with some player base there.
The combat is good, the parts are interesting, movement is good. Playing against a friend is fun. I really like it but the game could be better. Single player mode sucks. Thankfully there's no reason to play it. It has a nonexistent difficulty curve. That is to say its all unnecessarily difficult and possibly buggy. I wish there were more parts. There are parts locked behind a code that are just the existing parts but with a different appearance. Using them is a bit buggy when customizing a mech though and they don't stay unlocked. Its also pretty far from balanced. When ammo runs out, you're screwed and ammo is low across the board to start. There's not enough parts to really have options if you want to be competitive. As in the choices are too few so it gets pretty obvious what you need to do well, like very few weapons are viable just because they don't have enough ammo. Still, I want a sequel or update because this game could be so much better with a few changes/additions.
Camera and controls are straight jank, targeting barely works, and it's generally not smooth at all.
Sadly didn't like this game. My friends told me this was pretty much Custom Robo, and having loved the GCN rendition of said game, I purchased this. Sadly the story leaves a lot for me to desire, although I do like the factions system. Battles are either insanely easy or tough, no in between. Music could be improved upon as well. I loved the customization aspect though. This game has potential, but I cannot recommend it as it is.
This is the Gundam Breaker 4 you want to play.
Game's fun but it's dead.
Solid Mech fighting game the missions are fast - sometimes a little too fast however and normally a 1v1 just ends up being "Who can stunlock the opponent longer" meaning this game makes you feel like a complete God when everything clicks or like an absolute Ragdoll when not i also would like more descriptive equipment information before i purchase weapons aside from these issues for the price however i can definitly recommend
