1. - For me the most important thing about a game is it's addictiveness and yes Dominari is very addictive. 2. - Very important to, active devs in that case they talk a lot on steam discussions, you can talk with them through Discord, they want feedback and ideas so yeah it's a very good way to have a community who cares about this game. 3. - Personnaly for me it will be perfect with a good campaign and a few challenges, ultra wide resolutions (i like to play it like it is but i really prefer ULTRA WIDE), and maybe larger maps.
This game is actually quite decent. I will be clear, I'm not a big of a fan of those kind of games, but I felt addicted this time. 1. Good atmosphere 2. Nice music 3. Good enough tutorial 4. Decent feeling overall
Note: I received this key for free to review. Also, this is coming from someone who doesn't often play RTS games although I play a lot of other games. With that said, I'll write what I honestly think. The tutorial is kind of confusing. I felt like the concepts were explained too fast to really get a grasp on, like what can be built where, and the names of the facilities were too opaque to really understand everything the first time through, and when I went to go to single player afterwards it told me I didn't do the tutorial even though I did. Regardless, I'm more of a just play the game kind of person anyway, and eventually I just kind of reduced it down: the ODS is like your radar and helps you make more fighters and scrap your buildings, the GPA is like for a defense field and all the defense buildings, the QDL lets you cloak fighters and build things to launch attacks, and the LOCF is something you just wanna build near as many planets as possible to get resources and then you can use it to see cloaked units or get more mobility. After a couple games, it was obvious what everything did and actually felt pretty simplistic, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. The games I played were very fast as described and it seemed like the game was an RTS stripped to the core elements without a lot of the fancy junk, I just didn't understand at first because the names don't make it obvious what things do. I had fun with it, and it's pretty interesting overall although I feel it may end up lacking longevity. I'll probably come back to it at some point but it was an interesting game even for me as someone who almost never plays RTS games.
Just got this last night, and dug in today for the first time. Super impressed with this title. Does not give the impression of Early Access at all, the game is smooth, slick and fast. I highly recommend this to any fan of fast paced RTS games, perfectly hits the balance of challenging gameplay possibilities with very easy out of the gate play! Nice little treat, get it while it's discounted! Can't wait to watch it grow!!
Simple, real-time space strategy game a little like Eufloria but faster and with less granular controls. It's geared for 1v1 multiplayer with quick matches, you can also play vs a bot with a wide range of difficulty settings. Very easy to get into and has enough special moves and strategies to allow for some interesting depth with practice. This isn't my usual cup of tea but I keep coming back to it for another quick round of abstract mayhem.
Great game, matches are fast & fun. What sets this game apart from others is that you get 20 abilities that you can upgrade and can use for offensive and defensive situations.
i dont normaly like RTS games, but this game has completely changed my mind. it is VERY strategic and thought out. i highly recommend this game.
This game is actually pretty fun! Don't get put off by the variety of abilities, you'll pick it up as you go along. I found this game fairly easy to pick up despite having little experience with RTS games. It would be nice if the orbitals would show an indicator of its size so I would know how many planets would benefit from LCOF, for example, unless this is some kind of game balance that encourages you to memorise the orbital sizes. More people should try this game, especially those people who got it for free, please don't deny someone else the opportunity of playing this game just because you wanted to +1 your library. This game also has 10 AI difficulties, but I don't even know if Dominari is possible unless the AI just doesn't attack if you don't attack them first. My opinion might be biased since I'm a cheapskate, but I do think it's a tad expensive at $13.
This game is actually a ton of fun, it's simple, but addictive. I also found that the AI opponents are not pushovers. The tutorials are pretty good and set you up to understand and play the game, I also quite the liked the graphic style something about it feels very clean and streamlined. I found some things to be a little rough around the edges, for instance the options screen crashes every time. That being said, this game is a ton of fun that requires actual strategic thinking. Highly recommended.
