Dogyuun

This is how checkpoint shmups should be done. While the game does have powerup items, they only change your shot type, not the damage you deal. So you'll always be at the intended level of firepower and never underpowered after a death. Great job by Toaplan and far ahead of its time; there's no wonder why many newer shmups did away with pea shooters. Dogyuun has great variety of enemies and lots of creativity. Bosses are cool and have several tricks to learn. And most importantly, it feels awesome to play. While getting to the end is difficult, you get to witness the Single Greatest Thing which I won't spoil here but I think you'll agree when you see it. :D Don't miss this game.

某配信にてSTEAM移植を知り、配信日に購入。長らく家庭用に移植されなかったので、わあやったSTEAMでドギューンが遊べる！と喜びではあったんですが、BGMが、、、。ヴィファイブもやりたいな、セットで買うと１本６００円ちょっと。達人王などを含む４本セットを購入したんですが、どれも楽曲の質がひどいね。ゲームはまま遊べる感じですが、残機が増えたり減ったり、オプション回りも難がある感じです。東亜のシューティング移植はM2さんなどクオリティの高い移植が既にありますので、どうしても比較しちゃいますね。がっかり感、、、はありますが、移植してくれただけでも評価したいと思います。買ってよかったかどうかというと、買うべきではなかったという感想です。追記：やったあああクリアできた！！ノーアシスト１クレクリア達成！！４０時間かかりました！！疲れた～でも心地よい疲れ！！達成感がやばいです！買ってよかった～。あと、サウンド関連は修正されてますので、これで不満点は無くなりました。

起動できない件については、やはりMicrosoft Defenderの誤検知だった。 現在では問題なく起動を確認。 STEAMにもメールを送ったが、ウイルス対策プロバイダ（Microsoft)に報告することを勧められたので こちらから報告しておいた↓ https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission BGMは改善されたが,音のバランスが変な箇所がある 今はバグ取りの段階なようで、まともに遊べるようになるまで様子見が無難。

it's great , i love it, another fine job Bitwave games. I've bought all your games and appreciate you bringing these classics back to life.

Volume 4 brings us Toaplan's "greatest hits"! And Dogyuun. Listen, Dogyuun was never a particularly stable experience, but this port is just ridiculously badly-emulated with inaccurate and choppy instrumentation plus less extra features than usual (blame the insanely short development timeframe added onto the usual boastful incompetence) which still don't hecking work. Stay away.

With reduced hitbox that this port provides + picking up 2nd player ship with tractor beam for extra firepower and disabling checkpoint system + easiest difficulty it's actually very enjoyable game that will not frustrate you too much. Gorgeous visuals that are STILL unrivaled. I really like what Bitwave did there.

The original game is amazing, but there have been issues reported with this port - hanging visual orientation does not change controller orientation, so good luck with tate. And someone else said the lives you start with are inconsistent. These questions have gone unanswered for 5 months. Tough to support devs that do not care about gamers.

Mit diesem Port ist es nun möglich Dogyuun auch auf einem modernen System zuspielen. Außerdem haben die Entwickler genug Option eingebaut, die auch Anfängern erlauben das Spiel zu schaffen. Klare Empfehlung.

One of my fave toaplabn shmups along batsugun and outzone. The presentation is amazing. music is catchy. Graphics have a fantastic pixel art and art direction. A total cyberpubnk ambience. When it comes to graphics is my fave toaplan game. The gameplay, bullet patterns and visibility are good. The bosses are creative and fun altough a bit tanky. The stages lenght is good. You have 3 klinds of weapons : a blue laser (like dodonpachi) . A guided red laser, and a green that fires 2 beans (spoilers: it sucks). There game has unique mechanics that unfortunaly remained forgotten and i would love to see them again in other shmups. You can make a fusion both player ships in a big larger ship and with more power. You can also pickup 2 kinds of specials (a bomb that you can only use once or a turbo for you ship that makes your ship go really fast). The difficulty is high and i recommend you to play the european version because it is more approachable. The game does not suffer from gradius syndrome, it is easy to recover when you die. The bitwave port as always is amazing with full of assistance options (small hitbox, rewind, etc) and almost perfect except in the sound department that must be patched.If you are not a perfectionist probably will not matter.
