DoDonPachi Resurrection

dodonpachi dai fukkatsu (resurrection) aka DFK is one of the GREATEST games ever made. and this is a great port aswell. it may seem way too hard but if you spend some time with it (like you would a girl for example.) it will become surprisingly easy! also this game has really generous autobombs which basically means that in a legit run you could potentially get hit like 15 times and still clear. additionally this port has tons of content like novice modes and black label (which has a fire soundtrack) AND it has great arranges like black label arrange where you play as the ship from ketsui and its SUPER cool. anyways cave when are you releasing sdoj and doj on steam? stop pissing me off.

Play on the lowest difficulty and do not worry about how many credits you needed to clear it. I felt discouraged from my first playthroughs being so bad but just kept playing. Lowkey feels like magic when you keep playing and realize you got to stage 3 without dying once and didn't even realize it. The growth feels natural. There is no level up system, battle pass or any type of progression system but you level up your skill and expression with the game and that itself feels enriching vs just getting higher number values or climbing a chore ladder with all its challenges. I miss more simpler games but has many layers and depth to its gameplay that you can explore over hundreds of hours. Very rewarding and timeless experience.

Souls players who talk big about mastery should try DoDonPachi. Micro-dodging through a true bullet hell is a different beast.

I wanted to like this game, I really did. But I can't get past the fact I love it so much.

One of the best if not the best (Crimzon Clover is a very strong contender) bullet hell shooters on Steam! If you are thinking that the price is too high, know that you'll get a ton of different modes and arranges in a single package with 3 different soundtrack track sets that you can customize per game stage. Fit for all skill levels from complete novices to superplayers.

One of the greatest of all time, beautiful... absolutely beautiful, but you parasite modern developers are filthy and disgusting and are not of God... and this is where you're going 👉🔥

Just want to leave a good and juicy recommend for CAVE. Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu is an awesome game and a staple of that arcade feeling between difficult but fun at the same time. I'm always hoping that more of the Dodonpachi games, Ketsui and Mushihimesama Futari can get a good port to Steam/PC.
