Reviews
Getting to finally play through this one felt really good looking back. The game was a bit rough in the beginning but once you start to find your groove with your party, you will just start rolling through it. This was the first time I had done a solo playthrough on Divinity and it was still a lot of fun. Sure there is a lot of inventory management but being able to fine tune each character just feels great to me. This game also doesn't have the separate armor types (Magical/Physical) like in the sequel so that was definitely interesting and also made the game easier IMO. Most of the puzzles were pretty doable but there were a couple I had to look up, as I didn't want to be stuck forever. Looking at you Candle Circle puzzle in the Source place. I would love to replay this game in co-op and do think y'all should try it out if you have been debating. Enjoy!
Difficult beginning and can sometimes be a bit of a drag, but still well worth it.
