About
Prepare during the day. Survive the night.
Survive the Nights is a hardcore open-world survival game where preparation is everything. Scavenge, craft, fortify, and plan during the day — because when night falls, the infected hunt in numbers, and mistakes are punished.
Play solo or with friends in a brutal post-apocalyptic sandbox where survival is earned through smart decisions, strong fortifications, and cooperation under pressure.
Zombie difficulty comes from numbers, not individual strength. By day they roam slowly — by night they gather into massive hordes drawn to player activity. The longer you survive, the bigger and more dangerous the nights become.

Structures and vehicles are fully fortifiable. Cover windows and add strength to gain the advantage.

Cook over an open fire or directly on a stove to manage your calorie and hydration needs. Maintaining your player vitals will increase your overall strength and carrying capacity over time.

Sick of canned food? Head out into the wilderness to hunt for larger animals.

When food stores start to run out, turn to farming for your calorie needs. Protect your crops indoors under light or grow them outside in the warmer months to produce food that will last through winter.

Weapon attachments let you customize your gun and get it just right for your play style.

Every vehicle is repairable. Engine and wheel parts are required to get a vehicle running. Items can be stored in trunks and on truck beds.

Explore the different points of interest to find valuable location-specific loot.

The weather is dynamic including all four seasons along with seasonal vegetation and foliage.

Spend your days preparing to survive the onslaught at night. Zombies are more aggressive and alert when the sun goes down.
Day Objectives: During the day, focus on resource gathering and fortification. Fell trees, craft planks, engage in hunting and trapping. Collect loot, food, and fortify a structure. Ensure doors and containers are locked, fuel generators, and prepare power systems. Keep your health up by lighting fires, crafting bandages, and gearing up for the night.
Night Objectives: At night, prioritize safety and stealth. Team up with friends in a secured structure, favor melee over firearms to stay quiet. Activate generators, power up structures, set traps, and cook meals indoors on wood stoves. The key is to survive until morning.
The mental health system discourages the "Kill On Sight" mentality, promoting alliances for better survival against the zombie threat. While PVP is still a factor, players have ways to correct a negative mental state.
Survival and zombies how you like them! Browse hundreds of scenarios that set the scene for your perfect survival experience. Zombie survival just how you want it.

Powering a structure can provide light to make nighttime activities easier. Some structures also require electricity to power interior and exterior doors.

Got this because it looked fun on Neebs Gaming. Then I played it. Wow...totally different experience. The game is insanely difficult in the way that it's more frustration than fun. You need a minimum for 3 people to get past the first 2 days. This as a player of VEIN, 7 Days To Die, etc. for over a decade. The zombies move 3x faster than you do even with empty inventory, your starting melee is shorter range than their arms...endless spawning at your base even during the day, etc. The game is nowhere near ready for live. I hope they paid a ton of money to Neebs Gaming for the playthrough, because this game wouldn't draw the natural players. On paper, looks great. If it ever gets optimized, it could be good....maybe they need to get AI to audit their code and fix it. I got it on discount for like $5...and still refunded it. Not worth the $5 let alone the some $20 they're asking.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Always Online Ruins the Fun
This one aspect of the game completely ruins the entire experience. Even in single-player the game is sending telemetry back to... somewhere. Where and what that is, who can say? Even if you Opt-Out, you are still required to have an active Internet connection to play. There is no excuse for this. The issue is compounded if you play online as you can find yourself kicked without warning and lose all your progress to a random zombie that you were next to when you lost control of your character. Because you don't know what data this software is sending, I would strongly recommend staying away from this product.

Had this game for years. I still remember what this game ORIGINALLY promised - another kickstarter failure, and it should have been abandoned then. The two (three?) developers who stayed behind attempted to salvage it, but its just sub-par in every single way to any other survival game, and has been for years now. Look at how fast that new VEIN game is progressing compared to this.... 'game' oh but there's an in-game store and a monthly supporter subscription..... what??? This game is in 1.0??? How
Fun concept with good potential but the ui needs alot more polishing. It seems exactly the same like 3 years ago.
After many many years of waiting and hoping, this game seems stagnaent. I feel like the dev should have either invested in a publisher for funding, or hired people to help with development. I remember seeing this game through FrankyonPC SO long ago, and game seemed like the best thing since slice bread, but ultimetly fell short. I wanted to hold out as long as I can, but since they added paided objects in a shop menu, and no modding community(or not the right modding tools avalible.) Its just never changing or imporving. Sorry man, I think you need to rethink your road map, or get help with it.
This game has a lot of potential, they just need to keep updating the game, but for a 20 dollar game don't get your hopes up for a non-finished buggy game.
I really wanted to like this game because the core idea is excellent. It has the potential to be a genuine competitor to 7 Days to Die, but right now the execution lets it down. Unfortunately, I couldn't even complete the tutorial because of a combination of bugs and gameplay balance. The horde sizes feel excessive to the point of being frustrating rather than challenging. It often feels less like you're being tested and more like you're being overwhelmed with no realistic chance of survival. I also ran into several bugs: - The RV is a great vehicle, but it won't come to a complete stop. It slows down, but I have to either hit something or get out of the vehicle before it fully stops. - Flamethrowers feel almost useless. They don't seem to do enough damage to justify using them. - The axe only hits one zombie at a time, which makes close combat feel clunky when you're surrounded. The biggest issue for me is the looting system. Interacting with cupboards frequently causes random items in my inventory to become selected, then immediately closes the loot window. It almost feels like pressing E is being interpreted as a mouse click. More than once this has unequipped my weapon while I was looting, leaving me defenceless when a zombie wandered up behind me. I've died because of this multiple times. These bugs, combined with the overtuned horde difficulty, have made me put the game down for now. That said, I don't think this game is beyond saving. The foundation is genuinely promising. If the developers focus on fixing the bugs, improving the looting system, balancing the hordes, and making some quality-of-life improvements, I'll happily come back and give it another shot. I genuinely hope they do, because this game has the potential to become a real 7 Days to Die killer.
