Great RTS/RPG/Third-Person-Shooter Crazy Idea, Great Delivery!

Basically StarCraft 2 but with very primitive RTS mode. But the ship side of things is pretty good, if you like dialogue and choices then maybe buy it on discount.

Meh. Pretty weak game, 5/10. RTS is pretty rudimentary, not many skills or buildings, dragon is good in the beginning as later in the game gets almost useless. Never saw enemy dragon either. Research is done extremely quickly, and there is no use for that after all is researched. Overall, bit boring waste of time.

Dragon Commander is a unique blend of RTS, RPG and action combat (you use a dragon in fights), that focuses on making political decisions between different factions, that affect the world and the campaign; has a nice art-style (full of vibrant colors, stylized graphics), and a fitting soundtrack. The dragon combat can feel repetitive after a while, the RTS mechanics are a bit underbaked and some fights feel imbalanced, especially towards the end, but overall it's a decent game.

27.12.2025 Игру прошёл, ачивок почти не выпало :D 36/100. Любопытно представить на сколько рассчитана эта игра, по версии разработчика. Я удивлён, что не встретил возможность что-то делать с ненужными картами (продавать, обменивать). Карты со способностями дракона вообще не используются. Самые полезные стратегические и наёмники (всего 6 типов). Кампания, третий акт хоть и страшный, но проходится свободно. Я как казуал в ртс говорю об этом. В связи с этим вроде не против ещё в игру поиграть... 26.12.2025 Раньше мне нравилось играть на стратегической карте "Битву за средиземье", а теперь узнаю, что в Дивинити схожие механики и довольно интересно проходить.

This game is worth the try in my book. Experimental RTS elements, with a decent story, and entertaining political system. You probably will only play the main story once and maybe twice if you really like it. There however isn't much there to keep on playing beyond that. 5/10 - Worth the buy if on Sale or under $20.
