This is such a good game, I am glad that i played it as it really shows the passion that the Devs for this game. I can say the best part is the story with enough suspense to drive you through the game. The combat is unique enough with multiple options either for your weapons skills or your personal skills. Each nine characters play differently but that said, some are more useful than others and some balance still needed. Although this is a great game, it is not without flaws. 1. I find the game too long lol maybe is not a flaw for others but for working adults that didnt have much tme, i get tired after the 100 hrs. My main character is at level 99 when i beat the final boss and i didnt even grind.... 2. There are still crashes and i had one just after beating the final boss which i had to kill again... 3. The final dungeon is abit unfair, its like hard for the sake of being hard. Conclusion is do not pass on this great GEM if you see the graphics are from RPG maker style. Thanks for making this game. I had FUN.
This is a hidden gem imo. I'm playing on the difficulty level above hard and there have been times where a random encounter wipes me out lol-- gotta save and heal after every battle. Along these lines, the level at which you have to strategize your party formation and skills in each area and boss varies to a satisfying degree. There are also times where characters you may have relied on for a particular skill or strategy have to leave your party temporarily and this forces you to rethink strategy. I value this kind of difficulty as my least favorite thing to happen in a turned base game is the monotony of using the same skill pattern no matter the enemy. The weapons system / enemy weakness is a little like octopath in design but with more weapons choice that you have to keep on hand. The bounties are a nice challenge. That ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ undying slime thing! What joy when I finally got him! The story moves along at a good pace. I did rush through some of the dialogue but I wasn't ever overwhelmed by the amount or length. This is a little buggy and there are spelling errors but it's still worth it to me. My play wasn't ultimately effected very much. Also the items in Unity could have used some descriptions! I made a guide for the most expensive shop.
Better than i expected
It would have been a good 40 hours game. Instead it is full of filler content 70 hours epic. Random encounters slowly but surely killed it for me. Constantly interrupting player never was a good idea.
Esse jogo tem uma das histórias mais incríveis que já vi e deveria mais reconhecimento do público em geral!
Far exceeded all expectations. Very different, but fun combat system, but the story was by far the best part. I did regular difficulty and it spikes pretty hard toward the end, to the point where I wasn't having very much fun with the tedious encounters, but the story was good enough to get me through. It warns you once you hit the point of no longer being able to adjust the difficulty down and I didn't even think about it because I had been cruising along smoothly, but knowing what I know now, I would absolutely turn it down.
Great game, didnt expect to enjoy it this much.
I have to say that the games is actually better than expected. I have to praise the combat and the enemy design as they're quite varied and demanded you as a player to fully maximize the capability of your party to properly counter them. I played at hard difficulty and I have to say that you definitely need to properly equip and setup your characters in order not to outright lose the combat. Even ordinary enemy might proves to be difficult if not countered properly. The story is just there and I feel like the developer might want to develop more of it but had to cut it somewhere due to time constraint. Nonetheless, the game is definitely great for players interested in the gameplay.
Bought it on sale and the value you get is absurd! Strongly recommend
I had a great time playing this game. Did everything besides play on hard mode and very hard mode. Was able to do a smooth run even finished Choicemakers's Tomb and beyond til the point where I was not able to complete Choicemaker's Bastion since its 2025 and the script said it will be out sometime after 2022...Even with all that said..what an incredible game I enjoyed. I hope more can come from this game in the future.
