This is honestly an AMAZING little game, I tried the demo during the next fest and was eagerly waiting for it's release and was not disappointed. However, I have noticed a few notable bugs in my short time so far: 1. Void progresses during pause, allowing it to be skipped 2. the "flawless" upgrade does not gives levels as it should, although it does give HP 3. the "wishlist the game!" sign remains after buying the game Otherwise, 8/10 lovely game
Great fun! I also played the demo, and I like how the entity tries to counter your playstyle with different attack choices as you progress through a run.
A fun short twist on the bullet hell genre. The mechanic where you choose what obstacles you have to dodge is a very interesting dynamic to the game that creates a lot of tactics where you try to figure out which enemies are easier for you to dodge over others. This feels like a game you would find at an old-school arcade, but the roguelike elements flesh it out to keep it fresh, however I wish that there were more in-level upgrades to have more variety in strategy. The art style of this game is fantastic; some of the enemies and obstacles look hand-drawn, and that adds significantly to the flavor of the game.
- wishlisted game - bought game - died - died - died - died slower - died slower - died - died 10/10
A simple yet addicting game that changes with each playthrough. Nothing beats thinking you have a understanding of what's going on, dodging an enemy only to find you've walked straight into another enemy. I enjoyed being able to look at my stats and being able to pick the enemy's upgrades meant sometimes I really was screwing myself over. But that's all part of the fun! There's still new ways to approach the game despite how basic the gameplay loop looks.
