Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

While it's painful to compare this to other games such as Stellaris there's no getting away from it, and despite initial appearances, to sit down and actually play, this is very different. It manages to be a more micromanaging rich game, yet at the same time you don't 'have' to indulge in it; the extra clicking is totally optional. Ever had a large empire mid-late game, and find yourself routinely clicking away... just wanting it over as much as anything, only interested in specific aspects. Well, here you go, and by default pretty much most things are automated rather than flicking switches on and off and constantly messing with automation settings. They way automation is done here just feels right. That might make you think 'then what's the point?' All I can write is try it an see. In the same way a long time ago the stop-clock mechanic put me off trying Paradox map painters but now I massively prefer that to turn based, this type of optional automation is now something I think every strategy game should have. If possible and you're a 'map painting' type of fan, you should try this game. Don't worry, there's more than enough menus and intimidating supply lines to play with 'IF you want to get involved. I haven't got anywhere near enough hours to go in depth, but if you're bored, like this type of game and want something a little different, give this a look. It won't cost you that much to find out anyway.

As far as 4X games go, this one is excellent - really steep learning curve but a very in-depth, challenging but very rewarding game. Still being updated with DLCs and major updates too to continue to improve it! Thoroughly enjoy the available options, you can basically fully automate your entire empire or you can control every aspect of it and micro the entire thing to get it just how you want it. Basically, if you enjoy 4X space games (namely Stellaris), you'll thoroughly enjoy this one.
For all of its warts. Things that dont make sense why they havent improved much from DWU. I keep coming back because they keep updating the game and trying to improve it. Not as much as I would like, not in all the areas I would like, but I support the effort it must take. Hopefully they keep improving the guts of the game, ideally some performative optimisations, usability improvements. AND obviously the biggest selling point TC MODS. And I reserve the right to whine about it not having it so.
It's like if Stellaris wasn't for casuals
Very in depth 4x with a thorough tutorial . Really well done.
Cool looking Stellaris alternative, I will update my review after some more hours of game-play but so far I like what I see!
Great game that l lets you go as deep or as shallow as you want when conquering/befriending the galaxy.
For me the game is fabulous. It can be a little bit rough here or there, but they are by no means finished polishing it. I love the 4X style space empire. The game can "play itself" / choose how much you want to control. In my eyes this is the game that Stellaris wanted to be. Though that other one is a bit more fancy looking. But this one is lovely. Many many hours of space empire goodness.
